HLTV.org allows every users to record a match where a HLTV.org HLTV server is present. Just remember to fill out the booking correctly.

It can take up to 24 hours before the demo is available for download from our website, so please be patient.

HLTV.org always wants to host you match. However our server capacity is not infinite, so we say that your request is accepted until a bigger match comes along. If a bigger match starts it might be your HLTV server that will be used. The reason for this is that a bigger match will attract more spectators and is therefore a match that more people want to see. We follow the flow of our users. Give the people what they want.

Read the forums at http://www.hltv.org/?pageid=15 and ask for help if you dont find a solution. You use the same password as you do on HLTV.org to login in the forum.

You can download your HLTV demo under "Control Panel" on the left hand menu. Status gives an indication if the demo can be downloaded. Remember to be logged in.

Start steam, download the dedicated server package (last option under Games in steam). Go to your SteamApps\foo@bar.email\dedicated server\ and hit hltv.exe as hard as you can!!!!

To watch a match, just find the HLTV ip for the match. Connect to the HLTV ip as you would anyother gameserver. Then you will be connected and be able to watch the match.

This means that the HLTV server is not connected to the game server. Please wait a bit. If this is a regular match between two small clans, then contact a HLTV.org admin. If its a match between two big clans or a nationsmatch, then please wait. These normally do not start at the time specified.

The HLTV serverprogram is very unstable at high loads. If you are disconnected, then it is most likely that it is because the server crashed. Wait a few minutes. If it is not up, then contact an admin and they will try to connect the server again.

They normally take their time, when coming online. But also the HLTV will connect just about when they are ready to start the game. You just have to wait until it is up.

You messed up. Spammed, advertised or something we dont like. You will be unbanned... in time.

HLTV.org is a free HLTV bookingservice. Any games based on Halflife and mods can have a HLTV server connected. This includes Counter-Strike, DoD and many more. Also we try to deliver the HLTV ip of any games being played in Europe. These can be found on our HLTV ip page. If there is a match that is not on our page, please tell us. Then we will try to get it.

HLTV is a serverbased program, which allows people to watch a HL or mod match, while it is being played. When connected to a HLTV server, you are able to see the same as the players or see the game from different views.

HLTV.org does not sponsor clans. We think that the HLTV sponsored to a clan can be used for more matches, than the one clan is able to play.

Yes. HLTV.org sponsors cups and leagues. But you must have a timeschedule of when the clans are to play and have specific servers they have to play on. If this can not be upheld, then it would take too much to sponsor your cup or league. Instead please use the requestsystem, when the clans have to play and you know the server they are going to play on.

HLTV.org is always happy to sponsor a gaming event. However we have our demands for the bandwidth used for you event. Contact an admin about it.
