Control of emotions
I just read a newspost of SK-Gaming with Warcraft player Sky talking about the control of emotions being a main part of a professional player, which i believe is true.
For now I'm actually playing really good without any emotions.
I play very good versus my team manager which is because I don't have any emotions playing him, but as soon as I'm playing versus someone uknown or a player with a really irritating way of doing. For example; Multiple talking during the game, which interrupts me.
I'm not worried about my skill, cause i've been playing very good in my opinion. But the only part is that I didn't show it versus those people who i have to show it.
That's why I lost a lot of games in the EAS of ESL.
Controlling your emotions is for myself one of the main abilities of a gamer which I got to work on.
For that I'm very glad to work together with Richard 'eXtreme' Huntjens who is coaching me mentally.
Some tips for staying confidenced (also tips which I recieved from my mental coach/manager):
- Put something next of you in which you feel warmth/confidenced such as a favorite doll or a picture of your friends/girlfriend or whatever.
- Try to let your opponent think the wrong of you, like doing the unexpected. Let him think you're not a good player if your not that known yet, but exctually play for a 100% That will make the opponent feel over-confidenced.
- If you'r really wanting to get a good player you should play as much as possible, so you can gain a lot of game experience so that you will not make dumb mistakes which could get your emotions going down ways.
- Of course it's important to watch the Replays from your opponent if possible, so that you are expecting a little how your opponent will play. It's of course always possible your opponent will play different strategies, but now i warned you for that :)
- One of the main things my mental coach told me to do some self-confidence by not thinking of losing. But by thinking of winning. In the past i was used to tell: That I hoped to win. But now I just think like: I can win I'm sure. It maybe sounds weird, but don't let your mind think that you have a chance of losing. Play with your mind by telling him positive things, so your emotions will stay on a high level.
These were some tips that I thought of my self or have been told by my managers.
I hope you find them usefull, thanks for reading again!

Please start spelling "actually" right, so annoying lol.
i feel sorry for your HORRIBLE problems:/ OH MY GOD! how do you survive you have to read a blog where actually is spelled wrong. you wanna cry together?
it was a nice read, some unwanted mistakes doesn't matter
It's just that he's been doing the same uncommon mistake from his first blog. I don't think there's anything wrong with correcting him, baring in mind he was corrected before already about the same exact mistake.
Nice read overall, keep them coming ;)
