Ask Fnatic CS anything!
Hi all CSers!
We at Fnatic now give you the chance to state any(pretty much) question to our CS team that currently are in Shanghai, China, attending the K1 play-off.
To make it even more exciting for you, we will award one of you the SteelSeries QCK Fnatic edition.
In order to participate, the only thing you need to do is to state your questions to myself or any of my teammates here: http://www.fnatic.com/news/10209/ask-fnaticrc-cs-anything.html
The best questions will be answered in a video that will be posted on our website and Facebook(www.facebook.com/fnatic) on a later stage.
I will also check out the comments below on this post and grab a few questions from here, but if you want to have the chance to win the mousepad we have to ask you to enter via our website.
Enjoy it folks! http://www.fnatic.com/news/10209/ask-fnaticrc-cs-anything.html

Do you feel you can prepare fast enough to 16-0 all the saucers attending DHW?
their salary ?
Moddii said that he had around 700-1000 dollars a month (prizemoney not included) in an interview with Romanian TV IIRC
i would cry if i only made this much...
understanding its to only play a video game but what do you really have if your team stops winning?
Most CS players have saved their prizemoney earnings for dire times, I know that GT and a few others have done so atleast.
CS-salaries was better in the past, Tentpole had 2410 dollars a month as a salary (prizemoney not included) in NiP.

LoL pro ocelote makes 20,000 euros a month (:
yeah, also Saintvicious (Team Curse's jungler) said he gets paid as much as a doctor.
20K EUROS?
Yes, thats right. I think about 2 months ago he made a contract with a big betting website who offered him a lot of money, besides from that he has like 14K viewers on his owned stream every day. His parents doens't have to work anymore, because he pays the bills ^^. I don't think CS:GO will ever get that big that players will get so much money, but dota2 has a chance.
Maybe this isnt the best question but ive always been curious;
Was Gux the most raw skilled player to ever have played 1.6? because to me given all the news etc i read about him with commitment issues etc, he was still freakishly good to the point that i question whether he was the best "prac for prac" ratio compared to other players.
I've always felt like he didn't have as much motivation, commitment or put as much time into the game as other players, yet he was still top 10 and at some points a top 5 player in the world.
Given this i feel like he may have been one of the best if not the best raw skilled player or talented players?.
Seeing as i didnt play with him these are really loose assumptions and i would like to know what people who played with him think.
Ill chuck it on the website too hopefully can get some more insight :P

good question.
Gux in my opinion was the best entry fragger - bomb opener ever, lets se what they think about it :D

I agree with that, no one could hold W and frag as well as him, but i want to know just over all as an all round player in general as well because i get the feeling that if he had say, Get Rights passion for the game he would have been hailed or even better than the likes of f0rest or neo perhaps. :) of course need player clarifications, as im just guessing.
In general to me it seemed Gux with genuine spirit did enjoy playing Counter-Strike very much, always (what i could se) looked satisfied and smiling.
no one could hold W and frag as well as him

Can someone plase give me one of those fnatic shirts? Thnx
Also, do you think CSPromod is viable? I'm sure that the CSPDev team will be proud if you help them to improve the game. Will you accept to do a CSP showmatch, again?
thanks ;)

you can BUY a shirt on the fnatic shop
nice one :D
Is it true that you guys are practicing in CS:GO which means you gonna make the switch soon?
Also i'd like to know (if #21 is correct) if cArn will be in the CS:GO lineup
I can answer that, yes fnatic will switch to CS:GO and will attend DreamHack Winter. cArn will be stand-in in fnatic for some tournament, forgot but the line up will be same - karrigan, friis, trace, fyrrte, moddii.
Well carn, everyone knows that the world of Counter Strike has changed a lot. nowadays the awards are lower, fewer sponsors, few teams ... Comparing the best era of Counter Strike, in your opinion, what caused this tragic change in the scenario? which caused many teams leave the CS 1.6? as mTw, Evil Geniuses, WeMade FOX, Made In Brazil, mousesports, mYm, emulate, Roccat, etc.. and what is your expectation about CS: GO? CS: GO will be as valued as CS 1.6 was?
did the guys prepared to make the switch, and what do they think about cs:Go till now ,are they gonna be able to reach the high lvl like nip? i think that should cover it. best regards and gl in k1 :D
While playing with deagle.. why is that if we miss the first shot, we are almost bound to die?
Playing at highest level of Counter-Strike in most cases and times doesnt allows you to miss any first shot, especially not in 'modern era' and with a weapon like Desert Eagle.
How does it feel when you meet some chicks and when asked about your job, you proudly say: "I'm playing games"?
Karrigan is studying beside playing.
Loled :D
2- if xizt wanted to join back, which player would you replace him with?
He's not gonna answer this one because they'll obviously kick cArn :-P
its a obvius question, they will not accept him 2 times in a row wtf
What tells you this?
They won't deny him, seeing his current experience in CS:GO, and his being an asset as an IGL.

Gux
Mine was:
FYRR73 - So I hear you like Chinese girls. Care to elaborate?

how is this blogworthy? make a thread.
This is not a kiddo-Q (like many other in here) and i'd like to ask you, - cArn this:
Ok
If you were able to choose among every player (still at least semi-active) but in the same time being forced to keep the lineup 100% Swedish, then wich players you'd choose to your fnatic CS-team ? and -
would your choice still remain exactly the same between CS 1.6 and CS:GO, or actually differ ? if thats the case, can you explain why ?

What do you think we could have done regarding 1.6, in order to kept being selected on the major tournaments and attract new sponsors and players?
In your opinion, what is/was the most underrated player in the CS scene?

Yes cArn, I do have a question for you!
When it comes to FNATIC performances on Asian soil, there has been stats shown that you've perform a lot better overall in events that are hosted in Asia than Europe.
If we look at the statistics, most events you've won has been on Asian soil, do you find that funny?
# 2007 e-Stars Seoul (1st))
# 2008 KODE5 (2nd)
# 2009 ESWC Masters Cheonan (1st)
# 2009 e-Stars Seoul (1st)
# 2009 IEM IV Chengdu (2nd)
# 2009 IEM IV Dubai (1st)
# 2009 WCG (2nd)
# 2009 WEM (1st)
# 2010 IEM V Shanghai (1st)
# 2010 e-Stars Seoul (3rd)
# 2010 Beat IT (2nd)
# 2011 IEM6 GC Guangzhou (1st)
# 2011 BEAT IT Russia (2nd)
If so, how would you want to compare the european-hosted events with the asian ones?

Events in Asia look INSANE. Huge screaming crowds etc. Maybe fnatic just perform better under these conditions that other teams :)
Also, there are a lot of fnatic fans in Asia too I think, so maybe it's like a 2nd home or something.

FORZA FNATIC
Do you ever regret playing video games competitively ? Like have you ever said to yourself that you've wasted so much time on a game when you could have spent it on studying ? And how is your economical state ?
Well he works for fnatic, and has done a very good job at making himself a big name in the e-Sports world, so I think he would be one of the few players that isn't going to struggle financially as a direct result from gaming. The only other 2 that I can think of to do this are HeatoN and SpawN (obviously there are more).
Good question though, would be good to find out, with cs 1.6 being dead now, how many ex-pros are struggling to get a decent job due to gaming instead of learning or progressing with a career.

We are all ROBOTS! Personally i start to feel tired with all this marketing and BLA BLA BLA! i continue play cs 1.6 on line or whatever just to spend a good time in a BEST GAME EVER MADE! If i was a rich person i buy all the rights of the cs 1.6 and make a great comeback cause this game is on the LEGEND LIST OF ALL TIME!
How'd u face family members and when they ask what did u do with your life, U just say I play games for a living.
you either have parents who support you no matter what your dream is (smart parents) or those who dont support you (maybe not dumb, but definitely somethings wrong with their thinking)
or they want you to go outside and experience life and have an impact on other people and not just sit in your bedroom masturbating and playing games.
Relax its a hobby game...
Even i have One question..
What do u think about fnatic team in the future for cs:go ... n What u think about cs 1.6, how much time it will stay in esports as many top players and even teams Going to CS:GO?
AND WANT TO ASK ONE QUESTION TO TEAM MEMBERS....
What u Guys think about fnatic representing CS:GO in future..??
