Greetings HLTV.org.
This might be my last blog in here. Maybe not. Eighter way, this blog is my way to announce my exit of Counter-Strike 1.6. I guess, that some people dont care, and some people who will write me a little greeting, and maybe the mainstream comment "GL in future" and all the usual stuff.
But here I am, writing this blog, while thinking back on all the great memories, that CS has brought me. All the friends and mates it has given me. All the countless hours on a HLTV server, and all the chill on Ventrilo. The exitement, when you win a match, and fell on top. The happiness when the favourite team wins a tournament. The feeling you get, when winning a clutch round, and so much more.
I have allways seen myself as a clutch player, a player who can keep his cool, even in difficult situations. A player, who uses his head when playing, and not doing stupid stuff, constantly focused, when playing serious. A lot of the people I have played with throughout my CS time can confirm that.
But of course, there is also the fun part, when you enjoy yourself. When you play a lame gather or mix, where you just cant stop laughing, and do silly and troll-ish stuff ingame. I believe, that all of us can confirm that those matches are some of the best moments of CS.
I have more than one reason for my exit. Firstly, the lack of LAN events in Denmark has played a major part. You see, here in Denmark we kinda only have CPH Games left, being the only LAN event with a lot of teams attending. Source has taken over too much, and it is not very often you see a LAN event in Denmark, with more than 10 teams attending, in 1.6.
And that's one of my reasons. My passion for LAN events. Without them, what are CS then? There is no reason to go all-in, in a team, if you cant even prove yourself on LANs. And we are kinda runned dry in Denmark.
An other reason is simply, that I would like to spend more time with family and friends, and maybe even change the way things are going in school, since my grades has fallen hard to the ground lately.
I still want to play, but I dont see a reason to do so, when you cant attend more than 1 LAN each year, with activity. I still have motivation, I still want to play, but on the other hand, I wont waste my time too much.
So what will I do now? Dont know really. I will probably take a break, and play some mixes and gathers ones in a while, but nothing serious no more. I will still work on the eSports related stuff mentioned in my profile here on the website. I will still follow the scene to the very end, and of course still be in touch with my mates.
But what will be my next move? Well, of course I will take a break, where I wont play anything seriously. But after my break, I dont know what will happend. Maybe if CS:GO or CSPromod turns out to be great, and websites like HLTV.org will back it up, and sponsors and tournaments will support it aswell, you will probably see me again.
But untill then, all I can say is thanks. Thanks to all the guys I have played with throughout my time in CS. Thanks to HLTV.org for bringing such perfect coverage all the time. Thanks to ESLTV, Joe Miller and ReDeYe for putting so much work into their livestreams. Thanks to all the 19 guys, besides myself, who became my fans on this website. Last but not least, thanks to every single one, who reads this blog - troll or not.

I wont sadly :(. It was the plan, but the 2 guys could not make it, so we decided not to attend. However, I will come to the event, as a spectator :). But I wont play.

I wont return to CS 1.6 :). But no, im not new to the game, played it for some years now. But everything must come to an end for everyone, at some point :).

For every person who signs up for this website get the same chiose. 1. Be nice and helpfull. 2 Be a troll. The trolls should all be banned for a long time ago. Why did CS:GO happen if it wasn't for it...Uhhh God damn it...I can't face the fact that if CS "WOULD" I repeat "Would" Die ,I dunno what I will play rather CS =/ How do you think. I'm saying now..For me Cs:S Is not as good as CS 1.6 and CS:GO is the worst crap...It's more like COD:(1,2.3parts) It's not even CS anymore. Yeah it is a drug for sure :D. But keep on doing your projects, because you are very talented mate! And I know I cant drop CS totally, so I will probably still play lame mixes here and then :P.

Personally, I think you did the right decision, the same decision that I had take some time ago... Now, I just play for fun, I rarely open my cs in school time, even in the weekends! Just enjoy the game that you love in your vacations, when you have shure that playing will not affect your life!
