Hey guys, i've seen people writing about cs dying and what was behind it, and what we could do to make cs:go a fail and so on.
But i think they missed the most important points, at least in my opinion.

In my personal opinion the game was doomed anyway.

1-Due to the cs community getting old, is one of the facts.
People getting old get other commitments, finish school, university, social life, jobs etc...
At least for me at this point in my life is hard to me to commit myself to be everyday at the same hours ready for pracc. As some days in work are very tiring, and others days i want to go out, and i don't want to make excuses or explain myself to another 4 guys lol.
The kids nowadays are going for the "shining turd", like i always heard "u can polish a turd, but it will still be a turd". That's what happens with games like call of duty, cs:s, and will happen obviously with go.

2-Due to the difficulty of the game.
In order to be good at cs as a player, and as a team, u got to put hours into this game, is like everything in life.
Like i said on 1st point, due to a lot of factors people can't conciliate cs with real life, thas why i think gamer friendly games are taking in, like league of legends, for me is a lot of fun to play it, but i don't play it every day, neither i feel the need to play every day in order to be good with the usual champs that i use.

3-Tecnology evolution, even thought that due to economical crises,i thought the game was going to survive, as we got a really big community in the "fps schene" due to the fact that any cheap computer nowadays can run cs1.6, big sponsors and hardware brands push tournaments and valve to do the next big thing so we can buy their shit, what in my opinion is wrong, if people with crises go out less, they stick at home to play some games with friends and so on, but my self as a costumer will not upgrade my computer to play go, can assure you this. Cs 1.6 and lol will entertain me enough

In the end of the day, what i predict, is that a lot of people will buy cs:go, will realise that their computer is to crapy to run it, and that the game itself is a crap, and people will stuck to 1.6 for fun, wile watching a few pros from 1.6 on cs:go raping cs:s players.
For me it's going to be another cs:s, people not only will not enjoy the game, but will not have proper computers to play it, so they will go back to 1.6 and play it for fun, like it happen when cs:s came out.

Neither csp can save us as the new generation will find it pretty but hard to play anyway, and the only way logical to make csp a oficial tournament game, is to people from 1.6 swap to it, and stick to it, as it is a freegame, cause it is a mode for halflife2 engine or something like that, and cause VALVE doesn't like to lose money, my prediction is that they will buy and invest on that mode, still as we can see due to the facts i stated, real fps competitive games will die anyway, to hard for new kids and takes a lot of time of older players that enjoy playing this type a games. Not all of us have rich parents or sponsors that provide us the money to play all day geting money anway lol.

Take in mind that this is only my opinion, i'm not stating this as an absolute truth.
