Rome Total War 2

Hey Guys,

I'm here to talk about the newest title that has just been announced for 2013 by Creative Assembly and SEGA. "Rome Total War 2"

Now for those of you that haven't played any of the total war titles before then you are missing out hugely, they are historically accurate real time strategy games that focus on the graphic details in battles, which I feel is more that can be said for other big titles in the RTS genre.

Rome Total War
The game's main campaign is set during the rule of the late Roman Republic and early Roman Empire (270 BC – AD 14), with the player assuming control of one of three Roman families; other factions are playable when you unlock them after defeating them. Gameplay consists of real-time tactical battles framed within a turn-based strategic campaign, taking place across Europe, North Africa and the Near East. On the large strategic scale, players spend each turn managing diplomacy, developing infrastructure, moving armies, and managing the population's growth and orderliness through taxes and gladiatorial games, among other tasks. On the smaller scale, real-time battles against enemy armies take place within or between cities, with the player commanding forces which can contain thousands of individual soldiers.

(These are screenshots of RTW 2)

This game was critically acclaimed massively all over the world. It really was the start of a huge thing for CA and SEGA who have gone on the develop other titles such as, Empire and Shogun/Shogun 2 Total War.

Now they have gone back to the game that, in my opinion, was the best game they ever made. I cannot wait for this to be honest.

Keep a close eye on this game, it is one that I recommend you all get when it comes out.

Have you guys ever played these games, or will you look to play this one? Me personally, I can't wait!!! ;)

I've played Rome Total War more than any TW game honestly, so I can't wait.

I hope for an Empire TW 2 as well, even though it's not that old yet.
