Nice to hear :) I always said I was going to study philosophy, but then I figured that philosophize is what a person is should do all the time, there no particular need for me to study it. Especially since the philosophy study program here in Ljubljana is very conservative and rigid. The history of language and linguistics is indeed an extremely thought-provoking subject, especially the question of the correlation between languages and ways of thinking. Jonathan believes that every argument is acceptable on this website, as long as it incorporates a claim and somewhat decent support, while I believe some fascist ideas spread around the forums are unacceptable. Therefore a 10 year ban. Anyway I think the communication between me and Voltaire will not die hehe. Till next time :P

hey, i'm writing this here since i've just received a 10 year ban :D it is not my primary interest to become a teacher, but that's what i'll probably end up doing. gotta make a living somehow :D it's too early still, i'm only in my first year of studying. on the sidenote, i'm VERY interested in the philosophy of a language and the ideas of its speakers that it reflects. chomsky'n'stuff you? :D
