ehm? don't you know, as a swede that norwegian and swedish are pretty much the same?
atleast from my perspective its pretty hard to understand 20-30% of what nowegian people is saying but if ur used to hear it its maybe easier.
i think atleast that norwegians understands swedes better then vice versa. i know Jaegarn got kicked just becuase of this reason and thats why i wonder. :D

Depends on the dialect, same goes for me, some Swedes I simply cant understand.
We can't understand you danes cus you talk with food in your mouth 24/7.
hahha +1
LOOL !!
Don't think it goes for all Danes, but anyway I know especially Swedes got the problem.
tbh youre right.. cant understand much danish :p
That is so true. Impossible to understand sometimes.
a hot patato =D
As they say; it depends on the dialect!
I live 30 min from Sweden, and I understand a lot of swedish and vice versa! :)

ive been working in Kristiansand and Oslo and i had hard time to understand :)
Kristiansand is hard for me to! :(
lol i live there.. and its EASY!
I dont know how this relates really, but I find norwegian easier to understand than swedish. When talking fluently that is, if its word by word I'm guessing any scandinavian would understand each other.
By this I also mean, that a text written in Swedish/Norwegian would be easy to understand for any of us. Maybe not every word, but you would definitely understand the text. Even though many people say they are struggling to understand swedish interviews etc., I think it's more because they don't want to read it. Not that they dont understand it.
