Why f0rest is so popular
He is not actually the best player in the world. And he doesn't owning his opponents in every his gather game.
But when I see stream panel on HLTV.org with f0rp, GTR and karrigan steaming at the same time. GTR and karrigan(both great players) have about 500 viewers and f0rest stable 2K viewers.

There is a mystery surrounding players like f0rest and Neo. Not the loudest players, not the most interviewed, not the most stable. They both have tournaments sometimes that are un-human. They are both entertaining and always doing sick stuff out of no where. These two players are not new to the scene and probably know every trick in the book. That's probably why people are watching f0rest the most, he and Neo are two of the best players that have ever touched the game. Even though GTR is better overall than the two, he's a rookie in the eyes of many, that's probably the reason.

They had same fucking stats only because GTR played few more tournaments such as IEM6, DHS and GG where he could only make his rating better. Neo was clearly better, please just read their articles. And just watch "fresh pots" from thorin about kuben on sk-gaming, you'll understand how imortant this guy is. Don't think that "at this level" the one-man-army thing is possible, cause it's not. the rest of the golden five are really good but neo foerst gtr markeloff edward Real e.t.c are one more level up.The ultra high skilled :D.And yes Kuben calls well but Robban calls better.Plus esc dont seem to be the kind of the team that is strictly lead but the caller(as SK is).Neo calls some times during the game and Loord I think too(this happens in others teams too).

Yeah, in every team you have the "star players", of course. Not everyone can do what Markeloff or get_right does. When you look at fnatic 2009 this just a joke, you got probably 3 of the 5 best players in the world in the same team : GuX, f0rest and GtR. cArn doesn't even have to be an awesome caller at that time, he just ask his 3 guys to run and they do the job, this is just insane to watch. You're right about the poles, it's a very particular system as they're sometimes all leading, that's why they can change the "main leader" so often (switching from Taz to Kuben every year...). Anyway, that's probably because 4 guys play together since 2006 and 3 since 2005. It's HUGE. The same thing happened in fnatic where DsN could say something like "we should do that..." cause he played with carn for 6 years.
Anyway, of course you got some players like Kalle or MODDII who are just above the mass but it doesn't change the fact that in a top team the 5 players are dangerous and the skill difference is not so high nowadays, the difference is team-work.

GT is probably the nicest guy, they way he talks about other ppl etc but becouse he's mood player he may say some stupid things somtimes when it doesnt go his way but he says he's sry for it afterwards mostly but I don't really like his voice, just a personal thing and if you see this GT no offense, really. Because he's still one of the best players in the world since a lot of years and he has a big history is CS. get right, karrigan and even NaVi are newcomers. 2009 and 2010 were their first big CS years. That's my reason. I like constant oldschool players, forest is just da best!

cs 4-5 years ago and nowdays is not same,neo has been around for quite some years now,and when we look globaly, neo on fire - his team > anyone, but in terms of stability and consistency,even though i do NOT like gtr, he's without any questioning 1st. I think when you watch him play he makes a show not just play deadly CS like gtr or others + is he like the only player who taps like that? He almost never sprays..amazing to watch.
