Esports has not been given the level of importance in India as it has in other parts of the world(Scandinavian, North America, Korea, etc), so you cannot expect everything to be perfect especially when you have to take into consideration that this is the first time ever a big tournament is being organized in the country by itself.

They made one of the most experienced 1.6 players of the country, r4iD, as the brand-ambassador so it obviously looked like they were taking the right steps forward. Bad management - I agree, but I'm not giving up yet because there's still time for the tournaments to take place. This is a learning experience for them so I'm sure the one organized on September will have a much better start compared to this one.

Why do they have to initiate with such a big tournament ?? all tournaments start off with national level and then they increase prize money which attracts international teams ... It's completely stupid to promise such a big event , it's simple event management . One doesn't need a 'developed' economy to host a GAMING event FFS ... they have events in Bosnia for crying out loud . IGC just made a fool of themselves and they destroyed the reputation as M5 attended and now i don't think ANY international team will ever attend a tournament in India . It's no ones fault other than IGC . First arrange a national tournament , or atleast if you want to develop gaming in India THAT much , sponsor your best teams in events like CPH !!!

No one knew if IGC was credible or not, but after seeing them take the right steps such as making ATE|r4iD as the brand ambassador one would assume things would flow smoothly considering r4iD has attended more international events than any other 1.6 Indian player.

I feel they lacked planning and seriously need to rethink their management techniques. India can definitely host major tournaments but it needs the right people. Take ICGC for example, an event that takes place every year and invites teams from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, etc, and I have never heard or read a single negative review about the event.

Well idk if photos are real or not but well all countries have problems in some small corner...they(photographers) went there and took them :P

I personally see foreigners walking around clicking pics of poor people/auto drivers and rickshaw or as seen in some pics clicked by m5(i forgot the link) 3-4 people on scooters(Or something like that) :D

But sadly I have never seen people click pics of all the malls/good roads/F1 race/BYOC/Other GOOD things that happened or shit like that to show how much this country has developed :) and leave alone people posting links about them to show how good a country this is :P
