USB soundcard is activating 7.1 Virtual sound, BUT if you have a good 7.1 soundcard in your computer there is no point to buy it.. !

I have 5.1 soundcard and when I get SteelSeries USB soundcard it did activate the surround sound and it works so well !!

it is a printscreen of a USB soundcard device where you activate the 7.1 virtual sound...

(7.1 surround sound means you can hear if people are in front of you or on the back and if they are above you or below you etc.)

I recommend it to you if you want to be a better CS player :D

It's almost 3D sound :D

I have 7H usb and with 7.1 activated I can exactly distinguish from which angle the sound comes. Highly recommended.

It is not any better than the integrated soundcard. The only good thing about the usb-soundcard is that you can save the volume level and stuff like that directly to it.
But since siberia v2's do well without soundcard, its up to you, and preferably if you are visiting LANs then it might be useful thing but other than that it is really up to you.

Im just asking if its anybetter than the one without soundcard Im only using them headphones at home with my own computer I wont visit any lans. If the soundcard dosen't make them headphones better I will get normal ones but If theres big sound difference with the usb soundcard I will.
