Resolution and Crosshair Settings
Hey, I know you will say its only personal preference but ive been playing for 3 years now and I keep changing my resolution, the crosshair size, dynamiccrosshair and colour...

Can you guys tell me what is the best resolution and crosshair size/ dynamiccrosshair/ color to get used to?

It's personal preference

I actually uses 800x600, for better fps and focus. Crosshair large to spray better, dynamiccrosshair 0 and green

If you have a good pc even in highest resolutions you will have 100 fps.

I like to use the resolution 800x600 since i can see things better and not as pixelated as in 640... which crosshair size-dynamic 1 or 0- and colour do u recommend?

I'm kinda weird, because I play at large cross for some time, then I start to play low as fuck, so I change my cross to small. And it works! :)

Btw other settings: 640x480, cl_dynamiccrosshair 0, cl_crosshair_color red.

I guess the most comfortable and easy resolution to get used to is 800x600 .. dynamic 0 (I use 1 instead) .. medium (or auto is the same) and green .. It's the most adaptable resolution to any monitor ..

P.S : i like the white cross becoz of dark corners in maps and also good while aiming on someone , but when blinded by flashbangs :D ... i have to run till i see it :'(

I didn't mention that i play PUB servers in small maps like fy_... but i'm ok with you it's logical that white crosshair sucks in bright maps
But i play CSDM - ONLY HS and especially 5on5 and the white cross is pretty good 4 me :)

i've tried many number and i've search in many forums then i found that to get the white cross you must type 1000 1000 1000.
Anyway it works with 1000 and the balck is such numbers including 1000

haha but you do not try.Let me explain . RGB are mixture of colors Red Green Blue so you have to understand that every color will be filled when it will be set to 255 .1000 just works because every single number you place above 255 will be the same if you would place 255 .Like try to put cl_crosshair_color "400 400 400" it will be still the same .So the maximum number is 255 .Black is "0 0 0" because we don't give it any color..!

But we can still have white or black cross with more than 250 (1000) so i guess it's not the max ... but if you talk about other colors then i could say ur right , to get other colors the max number is 250

640 large dyn 0 white u must only practice how your bullets are flying when u, staying, running, ducking, running to right running to left etc.. , u know what i mean - practice to know good your recoil and know how to play on it to dont miss too many shoots and stop changeing this resolution 640 is best always, i feel game more when i have to play on large
