Wow King Kenny just got sacked.. Your opinion ? I think it was wrong of us to let him go, and I doubt it, the next manager will get any good players to the club, and bring us back to top4.

Enrique is good, he had his bad days but overall he is good. Carroll and Henderson might turn out into quality players as long as Carroll stops falling off of bar stools and as long as the next manager plays Henderson in the middle instead on the right wing where he is just bad. Adam was just horrible and Downing has like a curse on him or something, 0 goals 0 assists in the whole premiership season. They even let him shoot the penalty against Chelsea and he missed.

Reina is an awesome goal keeper imo the 2end best after Joe Hard, but he had a year of this year, and the defence is good , 1st half it was brilliant, Enrique was epic, but the 2end half, he played worse and Agger was off ( Do not need replacement in the defence ) If Gerrard and Lucas will become good again ( If dosen't sound convincing ) and maybe Aquaman will come back, he has played good for Ac Milan and he played good under Daglish ( or if we goo get Kagawa for Aquaman it would be awesome ) and we most definitely need 2 good wing, maybe Ganso and Behanda would be gr8, but dont know how they would do in PL and the prize will be high, and they are one for the top players on the market this summer. And 1 good striker aswell. Llorente or Higuín ? I know these are unrealistic targets, but we need this if we want to be back on top. And a good manager ofc Rafa or Hiddink ?

i doubt any of the players you mentioned will be willing to move to liverpool at the moment.. If they manage to finish 4th or maybe 5th next season then they can think about signing those players.. till then you can keep worrying about holding onto suarez :P

I wanted them to give KK another year but I guess you can't blame the board for sacking him after having the worst season in premiership in the last 50something years. I don't want Rafa back, I had hoped they would take Emery but he signed a contract with spartak moscow a couple of days ago. Maybe Bielsa if he would be interested, but most likely it's gonna be either Martinez from Wigan, AVB or Rafa.

Now let me explain why he is a moron, that is a guy who after looking at Xabi Alonso's statistics (mostly his runs and mobility) said that he doesn't understand how a player who is slow and doesn't move much on the pitch is considered to be one of the best midfielders in the world today. But the 1st year he won the CL,2end year he won FA Cup, and got top 4 the next years ( Without the last ) And people say that he bought over a 100 players and only 5 of them were usefull. Well, he had NO money at all, so he bought players for 1 mio and solged them back for 2 and so on. After all he bought, Xabi, Luis, Fernando, Javier, Jose, Martin and Daniel. And he was strongly liked with players such as Alvez, Silva and Villa le long time before anyone else was. If he had the money,he could have signed them. The reason why Alonso left, is couse the board wanted more british players so Rafa had to look where he could get most money from. So selling Alonso would give him twice the money he could get for buying Barry.

But seriously speaking, alot of things conspired against him during the final years of his tenure which led to his dissmissal in the first place.. Poor support from the owners, continuous squad rotation(for which he got alot of stick from the football pundits and fans as well) and some of the decisions that he made in transfer market didn't help either.
I would really like the new owners not to give in to the supporter's demands this time around and appoint someone who can take us forward. King did a good job by saving us from getting tangled in relegation fight last season when we were only 6 points away. It was nice for him to step in & give it a try.. Time to keep our heads up and look forward now.

As I have said I have nothing against him, I really admire what a great tactician he was. But truth be told he is a closed chapter in Liverpool's history now. I must remind you, with all the resources and backing Rafa had at his disposal in Inter he failed really hard. We have already tried bringing back a successful manager from our past and have made very little, if any improvements with him. That's the reason I would like board to appoint someone with a new approach who can take us forward.

I don't know. Liverpool is my favourite english squad ever. Whenever I watched their games this season, I see Gerrard playing really defensively. He didn't attack so much, like he did when Rafa was in charge. I don't know, maybe it was Dalglish tactic or maybe Gerrard is so worried, that they will concede a goal everytime when the opposite team attacks. I mean, Liverpool's defense ain't that bad with Skrtel, Agger, Caragher(old, but still), Johnson(although I don't like him so much) etc, but they received a lot goals and lost to so many teams, that they never shoulda lose.
And their attack was pretty bad as their goal record was the worst in 10 years I think. I mean, they have Suarez and Carroll. Carroll was great in the header department and his technique was more than decent. Remember the goal vs Chelsea in the FA cup final. And Suarez is a great player and yet Liverpool couldn't score goals.

Yeah, Spearing appeared decent last year when Kenny paired him up with Lucas in the mid. Even in the first half of this season he was ok as long as Lucas was on the pitch with him. As soon as Lucas got injured in that damned Carling Cup game, Spearing showed how limited and horrible he really is. If Lucas didn't get injured for the rest of the season Liverpool would have probably been contending for the CL spot untill the end of the season, I would even say that he is more important for Liverpool than Suarez.

I know that Roberto Martinez guy did well in Wigan, but I don't know anything about him. I'm not used to watch Wigan matches. I don't know if he likes to attack or to defend.

Martinez plays attacking football, it even looks nice considering the limited talent he has in Wigan squad. I think he is the only manager in Premiership who dares to play with only 3 defenders. However Wigan is usually horrible for 25-30 games, scraping on the bottom and then all of a sudden they get this insane string of great results where they beat top teams and survive relegation. I think that points to the fact that Martinez can't really motivate his players untill the shit has hit the fan.
