No, you can't deny the statistics. There was no doubt that Bayern was way more dominant. Maybe they relied a lot on individual actions, but what about Chelsea? I really fail to understand how anyone not being a fan of Chelsea actually think they were the better team. If you're a fan of Chelsea, it is understandable, I would've said the same thing it was Manchester United doing it. But from an objetive point of view, Chelsea did not play good, they did not play entertaining, and they were under constant pressure.

And no, they we're definitely not the best team. No. Please don't use the arguement that they were the better team considering they won, because a "bad" team beating a "good" team happens quite often in football.

But in the end it is indeed the goals that matters, but that does not change the fact that Bayern played better than Chelsea.

Just to sum it all up with one example. Do you follow the SC2 scene? The pro's actually often ends up losing a map against a far worse player because the player cheesed. This does absoloutely not mean that he played better, unless you have a very uncommon way of defining good play. If the player executes his tactic very well, you might argue that he did play good, but most of the time he doesn't and he somehow still manages to win thanks to being lucky, and that is exactly what happened here.
