Here is a valve quote from a CS:GO Q&A that i found pretty funny
"We need to make sure to not ignore that community - not just the pros but all the community, surfers, zombie mod, death matchers, gun game players etc if we want to make the best version of CS.
This adds time to the process, but it is time well spent."
i agree with using community feedback to develop the game; but we should be listening to professional players and competitive minded players. the other casual versions of play will come in time. they didn't develop the original version of CS with 'surfers, zombie mod, death matchers, gun game players etc' in mind :x
1.6 was developed as a competitive game and people love it as a casual game as well. it's not about that.
and btw Valve is not hearing any professional from europe, only old pros like Volcano and Ksharp, some source pros, whisenhunt (a caster) and some others.
not everyone plays CS classical.. there are some people who play the game purely for zombie mods etc and never play wars so it's good that they realise that too
they can't even keep on updating the game every week nor focus on important aspects of the core game and they want to please every single community, lmao. as full of shit as their 'Meet the pros' videos.
