Can anyone from Poland tell me about speed limits? I googled that there are 140km/h highways, but google maps doesnt show them. According to google maps 500km is about 8.5h. That cant be true (average speed 64km/h). Distance between Krakow and Gdansk are 600km, but google shows 8h 32min for that. According to Poland highway map whole distance is highway and should be 100+ km/h. So what is speed limit and which is the fastest way to Gdansk from Krakow?
speed limit max 110km/h, fastest way hm... I recommend to use gps but as in Poland we haven't got good highways and u will stay for sure in crowded places
Google told me that you have 140km/ roads too? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:DocelowyUkladDrog.svg these should be highways with high speed limit. And you can clearly see that it connects Gdansk and Katowice. So this road should be 110km/h? Or those roads are under construction or something?
u have 140km/h speed limit on highway, 120km/h on bypass, on 2-lane road u have 100km/h, on normal road 90km/h, in city 50km/h, after 11pm it's 60km/h till 5am. Our roads SUCKS except of highways and maybe bypasses but anyway.. u'll be frustrated, hf :)
speeds limit in brazil are annoying, the max speed is 120 km/h, but after 2km a wild city appear, and you have to slown down to 40/60km/h, and then 80km/h, and when you reach 120km/h again.... BAM another city, slown down to 40 km/h..........
ya but you must to remember that, in Poland roads are under construction. In Polish Law is maximum speed is 140 km/h on highway. You better go by train or aircraft. :0
