well to be honest times are changing so cs can't stay alive for ever and i think we all know that so lets be realistic and carry on peace!

Counter-Strike: Global Source is rather the more fitting title than CS:GO.

CS:GO is the ultimate shit , playing MONOPOLY with ur family is better than that

It will be the organizers (of tournies) who will decide the future of both..

movement is way better, recoils are getting really close..... they are working hard.... only dislike is the complexity of the map textures........ jus becuase its 2012 it doesnt mean u to put a 1000 props in a map, add tracers and give us a headache.... keep the maps simple VALVE........

Don't flame a game before its V1.0.. everyone should give it a try. For me there are some thing i like and some things i dislike.

But HOW can there be again A COMMUNITY if u dont give it A TRY?
The sponsors wont invest so much money in 1.6 as they did. So sad it is, its all about money...


I bet all u cs:go haters will play cs:go like "ooooh woooohooo yeaaaah my absolute favplayer XY is now playing CS:GO it must be the best game ever lets switch to it"


i dont think cs:go is good right now, but hidden path is working hard on it! You all have to notice that this is maybe one of the last changes for fps shooters in competitive esport.

And the last thing you should not forget: valve is pumping soooo much money into it, buying esl and all the others for playing cs:go!

Looking at those two games individually, CS:GO is actually really fun game to play especially if you have friends on teamspeak, but if Valve really want to compare CSGO with 1.6 then CSGO isn't any near 1.6, they should probably call game CoD:GO.

CS:GO isnt future of 1.6, it's new game. And if they manage to shut down all those big tournaments with "stealing" sponsors etc, it's going to be whole new scene and 1.6 players will remain in "shadow", but 1.6 it's going to be played still at least on national level.

It's like that you are telling to Dota player, LoL is your future..it's pointless.

i hate to say it but GO is hopefully the future. I have been playing/following the scene since around 2000 or maybe even earlier and i loooooooove 1,6 more then any other game out there :P.

But if ppl are negative against everything new soon there wont even be anything left to play or follow. I really hate to admit it but CS 1,6 is slowly slowly going down and if you all put you feelings aside you all know its true.

Sure GO looks bad atm BUT i will give it a real try when its 100% fixed and realsed.

Yes, I Understand the future but you can play cs:go ofc like every game that is new you will try it, I played cs:go for replaceing cs 1.6 its no chance, its nothing special just the game is maded by valve, Understanded one time.
Cs 1.6 Will Never die for me i will played till i turn on my pc.
