In conclusion: yes he is a musician since he's composing instrumental music too. I just gave these 2 producers as an example. Remember, they are playing the instrumental part when producing the songs.

not that big of a deal since even in here Finland we have Tiësto, Alex Kunnari, Avicii, Dash Berlin, ATB, Andy Moor, K-System, Armin Van Buuren, Axwell(Swedish House Mafia), Orkidea and many many others on one weekend in a single event and not long after that Skrillex & David Guetta on another event.
