That's true, the game is the same, same recoils, same maps, same movementation.

It's not exactly the same, as ceh9 said u can't even adjust ur rates, therefore the recoil feels kinda different.

cs online is like cs.16 but with ping 200 (c) ceh9

1.6 is just perfect, any little change will destroy it.

They only used models and maps from cs 1.6. The engine was made using unity which is not goldsource. Therefore you get a different feel with similar old graphics.

but little bit different settings (rate updaterate etc all of network settings low than 1.6)
and respawn spot is so fast

Taiwan has a Counter strike online server, I'm not sure if its the same in every country.
Sure, movements are the same, but they added a bunch of crappy weapons with new type of recoils each one of them. and the default guns like colt or ak47 are unlocked with points you earn through many games. this makes the game unbalanced because you have a high level guy with an ak-47 vs you(a low level with a crappy gun that takes 2 shots on the head to hs someone), guess who's going to win? of course if you're skilled you might win but still it's a big disadvantage.

Some guns that can only be bought with cash are extremely overpowered. Example? An AWP with the same reload time and weight as the scout.

And lastly, I'm not sure about your country but here, there are tons of people that prefer to play those zombie shooting modes, or vs BOTS. I sometimes play CSDM and find it fun once in a while, but come on! plant/defuse is what makes cs what it is!

Anyways, these are the reasons why I 100% choose 1.6 instead of CSO. May be same movements and recoils but it's boring as shit
