The truth is, cogu was one of the best snipers, markeloff wansn't a star yet, he was watching a famous player in action, just it. And even if he was a very known player in 2008, he's just watching other team playing, that's what the players do between one and another match, on a lan tournament.

I am sure that he learned something from watching cogu, but not just in this occasion. Probably, he watched POVs and demos from top AWPers (spots, peaks, etc), and developed his own style. Don't you get it? That's how you become better!
Why do you think "we" read books and such, in real life? We learn from the experiences of other people and adapt them to our own style. In CS 1.6, there aren't really books, but you study the experiences from other players through demos and whatnot.
So, did he learn from spectating cogu, in this situation? Absolutely! Does that diminishes his merit for being one of the best AWPers of all time? Absolutely not. He did his homework and trained very hard to achieve this level. That, my friends, is you succeed not only in CS, but in real life.

Delpan is the best awper for me ... He believes to his awp more than anyone ... Have u ever seen pros push with awp .. Not everytime but delpan do this 80% of the game when he is awping ... I remember a game when he pushed mid alone vs FX and killed 3 .. can u imagine to push against the golden 5 .. this is crazy and delpan goes crazy the most of the times .. he always knows where the enemy is coming .. it doesnt matter if its the beggining of the game or last 30 sec ... HE IS JUST AWSOME RATHER I AM WITH Natus Vincere ... i support delpan and say to him ... Continue as ur doing GL HF :)

And something I dont understand, is why a lot of people say that walle was one of the best awpers ever.. tbh his only good match that i saw was vs x6tence @dust2 and his famous ace @train, ...if anyone can give me some demos I'd like to watch because i wanna know why he is in those "ranks" :)!

Agreed about markeloff, but walle was great too. Walle was so complete player. IGL/sniper/rifler. All is possible for him, on highest level.
