Germany had 10% more ball possession than Portugal and both sides had 3 shots on target while Germany had 2 corners and Portugal 11 corners and you failed to make a goal but we did, so don't talk shit here and move on. Germany didn't play great I agree on that but that isn't all what football is about. Next matches we will become stronger. ;)

The opportunities we created to make a goal were way more than yours...
We had bad luck at failing all of them while germany had scored...

Overall Portugal was superior than Germany in gameplay but it's not gameplay that counts...

It's my opinion about the game and there must be more people who agrees with me....

when it comes to such a tight match luck usually decides it. this time it went for you. Well , I wasn't expecting more of the game cuz of our past games against Germany. We nearly always lose although we play good.

This time it was a balanced match, I think germany didnt play at its full potential, and that's why Portugal deserved way more than the 0-1 :|

Mate I've been following the german football scene for alot of years now. Podolski is not just a great player, he has also proved himself again and again on an international level. Götze might be a big talent and no doubt about is abilities, but why do you think did Dortmund fail in the Groupstage of CL? Götze has never played an important game for germany. because Dortmund is the best team IN GERMANY. The team plays great together but you cant judge Götze by that. You dont know how he will perform in another team like Germany, so its RISKY to let him play the most important group stage game. I didnt even say that it would be a mistake, just that its RISKY. Just look at Messi, hes by far the best player in the world when he plays for Barca but still he fails with is national team :P

and btw Podolski was by far- BY FAR- Colognes best player. You cant blame him for what his team wasnt capable of .

at the moment denmark 0, portugal 0 and the netherlands -2. denmark will probably end up with at least -1 and possibly more (maybe even -2 or -3), of the netherlands only has to win with a 2 goal margin and they might even qualify with just a marginal 1-0 win but this depends on the result between germany and denmark.

Denmark will have a better mutual goal difference. You must remember that Germany's match against Holland is redundant if Portugal, Denmark and Germany gets 6 points. Denmark currently has 2-3 in goal difference without the Netherlands match. Germany has 1-0 without. If Denmark just scores even one goal against Germany, both Denmark and Germany has a goal difference at 0. And then Denmark will advance with most scored goals. So all in all, victory over Germany = Denmark advance.

the fact is you are wrong and you changed your statement later. you said if germany loses to denmark both will go through, that is wrong. if denmark wins against germany and portugal wins against the netherlands then portugal and denmark will advance. I don't think germany will allow this to happen especially since both games will be played simultaneously. germany will play with their best possible team and chances for denmark to win are slim, on the other hand netherlands are likely to beat portugal so we will probably see germany and the netherlands advance after all.

Germany is pretty much aware of this situation and the players won't take a risk against you nor will they underestimate you. Everything other than a win is not acceptable for Germany and our philosophy at this point.

Nevertheless I would be glad if you advance as the second placed team to the quarter-finals. (Netherlands needs to win with a small 1-0 score in this case or? Haven't calculated it yet.)
