Your problem is you are confusing past results and potential current results with actual results. These players have no good international results in many years, so it is illogical to rank them as high as you are. You say 'they should win', but the truth is 'they don't win' and that's why they can't be ranked top 20. I would agree if you said they are potentially a top 20 team based on their old results, but there's no way they could currently be called one.
Warden is one of those famous players that everyone knows with loads of achievements. By that line of argument--that past results determine how they are ranked today--he should be one of the top ranking players currently playing. Yet, he was absolutely dead last in ESEA this season.
Or take carn. As possibly the best IGL of all time, any decent team lead by him should automatically be ranked top 10, maybe top 5, as soon as it forms without even playing one match--because, hey, they have no results but their 'past achievements' are even better than mibr's

I think swecon was favored by large and unusual amounts of luck. When I say luck, I mean a combination of swecon hitting all the shots, and brasilGaming failing and calling wrong, and bit and shemp having a off day, they needed to warm up seriously and not understimate swecon like I 100% shure they did.

Low energy, mood, lack of sleep, PC problems, motivation, under/overestimating the other team and many many other factors come into play.
Sometimes a team can have the right conditions to beat a better team while another can have some unlucky conditions and lose against worse, it happens.
After today I would still rank brasil gaming way over swecon and probably amongst top10/15 in the world, but today things went swecons way(Well, in that one game :P)

I have no idea what you mean. Top11-50 teams are all able to beat each other on a good day. Those swecon guys are probably like a pretty good semi-pro team... There are so many of those in Sweden, so on a good day any one of those pretty stable teams can give a go versus bigger teams.
