Let's make it clear for you, you raging 1.6 retards. 1.6 is dying, and it's not dying because CSGO is coming out, but because more and more people are loosing interest in it for favor of other games. And its not just FPS games im talking about, but also MOBA, RTS, RPG etc. It is a normal thing that at some point game is getting boring, and you switch to something different. Simple example, if any of you tell me that you only play 1.6 your whole life, then definitely you can go and shoot yourself. Im pretty sure that each one of you played something different as well. Simple example. Anyway, Valve is handing you chance to bring CS back again as top1 both e-sport and casual scene. This would result in more sponsors, more interested in game in general, pure benefits. And all what you do, is rage how shit CSGO is, without actually even playing it. Of course some of you gave it a go, some adapted it and some came back saying game is shit, without actually giving it a proper chance. Reason why those idiots come back and say game is shit, cuz they joined there, got spanked and rage quit and decided to spread crap around. It is a new game, where everyone needs to adapt changes in matter of bringing CS back to life. I completely don't understand most of you. You need to release that every single comment, negative one or positive one have influence on other players. If you gonna fucking cry that CSGO is shit, without even playing it, than we can tell Valve to dont bother and drop the project, because CS scene is based on bunch of little bitches, who will never move on and adapt changes. Valve is handing you chance to unite, support and bring Counter Strike on top1 online game, and you wasting it. I can understand why you refused to Source, because game is bad, reg is terrible and few other reason, but CSGO netcode, physic, reg and everything else is great, that means it is worth a shot. In my opinion game is the hardest out of all of versions. Recoil is on size of 1.6 and is random. This makes it much harder. So now, there is a chance for you, switch to CSGO and being CS back to live, or cry like a little bitch and die together 1.6.

Thats just side issue. The main thing is that new games, CS:GO, LoL, Dota 2 etc are LOOKING better! Why would 10 years old boy buy cs 1.6 which looks "poor" from his eyes? CS 1.6 Pros will get old and will retire. CS 1.6 dont pull more new players as those CoDs and MOBAs. Thats why tournaments wont support cs 1.6 anymore. But these years has been so goldy.

Yes i did, and i played it as well. It is good, but unfortunately it is also outdated. Should have been released ages ago. And no, Random recoil, forces payers to focus more on actual aiming, not spraying.

You're totally right, people don't understand it though. Problems is those little 1.6 fags think they could become pro in 1.6. Though the 1.6 pro scene is the same for years and rarely new teams/players reached the top in the past. Time for something new, nowadays with streaming etc. it's different.

OP, you're a dreamer. You can't just tell everyone to shut up and play a game they dont enjoy. You can't blame the community for not liking the game.

I'll slowly explain my points. Let's start here: the CS franchise is STILL by far the BIGGEST thing Valve has. CS+CSS have ~100k active players at every moment. Not even Dota2 comes close, nor will it be close in the long run (maybe it'll top 100k shortly after release, but numbers will decline again).

Now look at how unsuccesful CSGO is in comparison. It has less players than CS:CZ. It has ~1000 players usually, even though they gave out way more than 100k keys now. ok?

95% of the beta forum say that the game is not ready for release. Guess what they gonna do? Trying their hardest to release it in august (source: dev). The beta is being treated like shit. They still haven't done the simplest and quickest changes that literally everyone was demanding from the beginning. Compare to Dota2. Valve does absolutely everything to recreate the Dota1 feeling or make it even crisper. Everything builds on Dota1 as a fundamental. CSGO creates new recoil, movement, maps etc just for the sake of making things new. New maps are a good thing in theory, but their design philosophy behind them isn't so good. On top of that they add a lot of shit which really no one likes. For example fog, bad postprocessing, tracers...

How much you played? 5 hours? I have 220 hours played, 900 forum posts and talked to the dev for several days.




The game isn't shit. It's ok to spend 200 hours on, but it didnt hook me like 1.6 at all. There's so many things about it that I don't like. Especially recoil kills the game for me, cause tapping is so fucking weak. If you say otherwise, it means you are a noob who has no clue how tapping in 1.6 even works. No offense. The recoil is very very unlike 1.6. All you have to do is to burst. Play like HeatoN in 1.5. It bores the hell out of me, sorry.

I never said play the game you dont enjoy, i told all idiots who havent play CSGO or played couple of hours to stfu and dont create fake opinions and at least give it a chance. Read again. In total i have 350 hours on CSGO, i had it since Novmeber. Yes i agree tapping is shit, compared to 1.6 or Source, but it works if you tap slower. this could be another change to adapt. It is still beta stage, this might get changed. When i compared recoil to 1.6 i meant the size of it. Source has much smaller recoil then both 1.6 and CSGO.

And now, guess what, u r actually the first person from 1.6 scene who played the game for a while and tell opinion based on own experience i have seen since CSGO is out. Just simply look at the comments on this thread, and you know exactly what i mean. Because half of those idiots say crap about CSGO, another half simply picks the opinion up and repeat it, without knowing how even CSGO look like? Some of them already says they wont buy a game, simply based on opinions of little crying bitches who never even played the game. Yes beta is not ready for release yet, but they still have month to change it.

Just to make it clear i dont force anyone to play the game, i want people who havent play it, or played it couple of hours, got spanked and rq to shut up, and wait till they get a chance to play it, and then tell the world them thoughts.

Ah about pros saying that CSGO is crap, from what i remember it was NEO, and guess what is neo doing right now? Playing CSGO, just like GeT_RiGht and all others. Neo said it about 3 months ago from waht i remember, that was before the big update.

I don't think a random recoil is a good thing, making it unpredictable takes off the hard time you have to "learn the recoil" because you won't spray anyway :D

Recoil is able to control, u have to learn how to do it. In csgo it is not like 1.6, from what i remember in 1.6 is pull down and to the left. In CSGO u control recoil by looking how gun is acting and adjusting mouse movement to it.

There are some kids saying CS 1.6 won't die if we keep playing it.
But its different.
When WCG, IEM, ESWC and other tournaments drop CS 1.6, you just lose your motivation. Game becomes boring and uninteresting.

I'm talking about pro and semi-pro scene. There are always will be CS 1.6 players. But when pro scene is dead. its useless.
