swag's frags neat trick!
ESEA released a highlight video of swag's frags a couple of days ago. the first clip in the movie shows him spraying a kid in hut and then running out of bullets while enemies are coming out of squeaky door at the same time. he throws his gun at the first guy who is trying to deagle him and since the enemy had "pick up more powerful gun" option enabled, it automatically switched to the gun swag threw and the enemy basically got owned. I have tried to do this on eco rounds since then, but no one ever bunches up enough. i just thought it was awesome play that I have never seen actually happen live in CS lan tournaments. anyone have any other videos of pros doing this and it working? i have been watching cs since 2002 and i have never seen anyone successfully pull this off. i think most people have this option disabled no? i have always had it enabled.

gtr throws his gun when it's out of bullets so that the other team can't use it that round. what the op is talking about is throwing the gun right to an opponent hoping he has autowepswitch on.

gtr never throws it at an opponent. it's always just onto the ground.

Logically he don't throw it to the enemy because he is shooting at him, or you spect him to throw to the oponnent while he is shooting at him.

this drop-trick is porbablyy older than the player himself... it used to be good back in the days, but everyone on a decent level nowadays plays without autoswitch

the most importanta factor in this situation - its attention, if you open your eyes, you'll see a movement of the player, who received those gun - he started to run back, not to shoot at swag, i bet if you would be on his place, you would do the same

the reason why he does so is because he plays autoswitch and couldnt attack anymore, genius!

He doesn't do it so the enemy "might" pick it up! he does it because if he died, there wouldn't be any bullets left in the colt.

If you have 30|90 bullet in a colt and spray 30 of them and die, the opponents can pick it up and reload and maybe even win the round.
If you have the same amount of bullets and use the 30 of them and drop the colt! then the one who picks it up will have 0|0 bullets.

actually if swag wouldve died after the guy picked up the gun he would still get all the bullets there was but since that guy dropped the gun to a teammate the teammate got 0 ammo with it. if u pick up a weapon from a teammate u get only the bullets he had on the current clip unless the teammate u got it from was killed and u pick it up from the ground.

Nah, the other guy is right, he would have to die whilst holding the gun for there to be any ammo in it. (dropping to an enemy is like dropping to a team mate, you keep the ammo).

nope I might be wrong but I was saying that
teammate to teammate drop = 1clip only(or what's left in it)
opponent to opponent drop = all the clips
pick up from dead opponent = all the clips
pick up from dead teammate = all the clips

or something.. cant even remember anymore dafuq was i meaning but yeah smoking ftw :P

He drops it, when he thinks he might die/ and/ or wants to take his ups/deag out drops it so the enemy dosen't pick it up and have bullets in it

It's a nice trick, but a decent player should have that option switched off for shit like this. Try doing a deagle rush with it, you will fail and switch right when you're about to nail that headshot.

No way he did it on purpose, that's just silly. Most people play with autowepswitsch 0, and giving away your gun is not a smart idea in any case.
