i might have put chosen some words carelessly a bit but the general idea was that in the olden days you played all the rounds or each of the sides and with two maps, one from each team, that was 48 rounds in total
two maps * two sides * mr12 on each side = 48 rounds
i think it was around that year when 1.6 came up when people generally started to play till the win, that is, with 48 rounds to use in total, till one of the teams scored 25
and thats clanbase im talking about
before that i think there was the 'chargers only' system in place with mp_timelimit and even before that some mixed up system also with timelimit on each of the sides and big (?) and small (?) points to gain? something like that
