Yes, the xl2420t is better than the xl2410t in most of its characteristics.

Your comment didn't add anything to the discussion as in this case, as said, the xl2420t is better than the xl2410t.

If you wanted to say that the xl2410t is enough for whatever scenario you had in mind you should have expanded your original statement right from the start.

if you dont have alot of money there is no real need to buy the XL2420, its better but by not alot considering its like 80euro cheaper )

It all depends on the usage. For instance, I use a Mac with Thunderbolt (miniDP). MiniDP to DP is a lot cheaper than buying an active miniDP to Dual-Link DVI. So I would actually be saving money with the XL2420T.

That's a pretty specific case though. lol
