what specs for CS:GO?
Hey guys, I get 40-50fps on 640 in CS:GO :( while I usually get 99 constant fps in CS 1.6.

Here is my PC config :
AMD Athlon II X2 220 2.8Ghz
3.0 GB Ram
Geforce GT 220

What should I add/modify? I don't really have much to spend though lol. What would be more efficient, adding 2GB of RAM or change graphic card?

so basically just get a new vid card? :D

I have 1000 fps in source and 60-100 in CSGO.
So i would say you need a 2000$ PC to play the game.
I have:
"8500 Danish kroner = 1 411.0935 US$"

Counter Strike Logic.
buy high end PC, play on the lowest resolution possible.
2012-08-08 21:24:09
people are use to that resolution....
2012-08-08 22:24:43
who the fuck said i have a high end pc? u stupid piece of shit i bought my computer 400$ 3 yrs ago and it has the worst spec possible for games. and do you even know what preference is you stupid fuck? high end pc isnt to use a better res, its to have better results in terms of FPS and smoothness

2012-08-09 02:58:04
why so mad? it's just an irony lol
2012-08-09 10:44:36
who the f**k said you have a high end PC?
I said there are alot of counter strike players that play with lowest resolution(600x480) while using high end PC.
2012-08-09 10:56:38
On higher resolution 1.6 looks better but my recoil is at least 4 times better on 640x480.It's that simple,it's counter strike logic.99.9999999999% PROs and most players prefer 6x4
2012-08-09 16:34:07
i have 110 - 130 fps in csgo : 2gb ram nvidia 9600gt intel dual core processor... on 640 res and medium settings in csgo, but high performance in nvidia drivers with all other options off, when the game is launched fps will be much much better for all.Try to use css high fps config and put fps_max 130(i learned that from friend that used to play css). You dont need more than 100-130 fps for csgo to work perfectly, you just need to have stable fps

PS i use graphic card overclock program MSIafterburner wich can increase your gpu performance

CALL OF DUTY IS MORE FUNNY... TRUST ME

BF > COD.
If you like to be more tactical :)

2012-08-09 07:30:01
can't tell if trolling or just stupid
2012-08-09 04:40:11
you need better videocard
2012-08-09 03:02:09
thanks man
2012-08-09 03:14:43
nope
2012-08-09 04:07:30
I guess it depends on the amount of fps you think you need if you want above 200 fps constant you will need a brand new computer.
2012-08-09 09:38:45
Is it really differ to play in 100fps to 200fps?
Because when you think it's highest setting is 300fps, then you really need a good video card to play it on its highest.
2012-08-09 10:48:02
100-150 fps should be enough
2012-08-09 17:07:39
Do 300fps user have an advantage over a lower fps one(let's say he use 150fps), considering in 1.6 higher fps = better/smoother recoil?
2012-08-09 18:41:40
I don't think so
2012-08-09 18:44:06
Aw, okay.
Thanks for the answer btw.
2012-08-09 19:35:23
nah, i just want constant 99 in 2 smokes and a battle of 4-5 models
will the ASUS GeForce GTX 550 Ti 910MHZ 1GB 4.1GHZ GDDR5 do the job?
