My bullet registry going randomize, my friend's recoil is really great.



Please help resolve this problem,
i don't just have in cs 1.6

it also depends on your sensitivity how you can control your recoil because you have to push your mouse down while shooting.

Give an example where pros actually do that and still maintains decent accuracy. I would understand if at close range, however all good players have to learn to stop theyr movement right before they start shooting, unless they don`t care about accuracy of first few bullets they shoot.

probably yes, i spended many time to search for fix, tryed many many things and nothing worked. Now iam sure its motherboard issue because something is slowering down the game. Best solution is get a job and buy some nice computer with powerful motherboard. Do not buy any mirco atx motherboard they are weak and they are low-end. If you search for "CS isnt smooth" thread and look at the posts when guys are postings their hw setup , 3/4 of them have some shitty mATX motherboard.

I know lot of people cant understand that, and i dont say it's obviously the reason. But i really think it's psychological.

So, first of all, your recal seems not bad, and the way you see your friends recal is just a game "bug", you cant see his real one. (for exemple when i see people full for wallbang, i see perfect and near the floor impact, and that actually false impact.)
You are saying that in your friends PC you can play really better, and that i think it's purely psychological (i dont say you are a brainless person for that, it's the same with everybody. And the "pc/net" problem thing it's like the most common excuse for not being a pro-gamer by a lot of players..)

If it's not, the only reason for me can be the net. (So, i think you already did it, but try your recoil in LAN game, it will be actualy better, with or without problem, but if you see a really big difference it's because your inet si broken.) If that change nothing, uninstal & reinstal the game, check accel/vsinc/cfg and if you think after that, that your problem is still here it's for me just psychological.

actually this problem really exists, Iam solving this for at least for 1 year when i get a new computer. i tryed different hardware EXCEPT OF MOTHERBOARD, tryed every possible combination in bios, tried all possibly drivers, nothing works, sometimes my game is very smooth (no matter if lan or inet) but firerate still sloved so also its easier and better to play with smooth game , but like i said firerate still screwed. And sometimes my game (ALWAYS) is very unsmooth, very bad recoil, slowed mousespeed,after i switch my guns are reloading,very very slow firerate, laggy display.

I have problems with recoil and game smoothness as well, witch I blame on my internet connection.
However this is is a great catalyst for me to improve my other skills whose are unrelated to spraying bullets.
I just can`t control my spray well, because I assume that have bad internet connection and having pc just too full with trash to run smoothly, witch results in game not beign smooth, witch makes it really difficult to play smooth as well. For example, normally when opponent comes out of corner I`m able to see his motion well. It`s often even smoother when watching on youtube fragmovies, whose are running on 30 fps. But on my PC it just lags and so sometimes opponent not just suddenly "runs" in front of me instead of smoothly moving out of corner, as well as his entire movements can be just as laggy/unsmooth, witch makes fighting them almost impossible by using the normal method by following opponents with my eyes alone.
Well, as I sayd, it is great catalyst to improve my skills at game, because, in order to play smooth, I have to learn to do it subconsiously, not to be smooth based just on sight.

p.s. Now when I think about it, once I had reinstalled OS on my PC once and as result cs ran really smooth compared how it was before. Now It`s back to its old ways, however my internet connection is bad anyway so game wouldn`t be smooth even if framerate was as smooth when I had reiastalled my pc.

if you dont have gfx card then whether in bios have you assigned maximum amount of ram possible for inbuilt graphics display ?
type dxdiag in run and provide screenshot of system & display tab.
make sure it displays inbuilt ram 128/256 depending on your inbuilt graphics capability.

yea sure, I have a gateway computer, and the BIOS did not give much room to change things (because it wasn't a gaming computer. also, it was a mini tower PC :D)
what I changed was 1 thing in the BIOS... it was the EIST one. I disabled it.
Umm, I looked for HPET around the device manager, and I think I disabled it from there, since it wasn't in the BIOS. C1E, Intel Adaptive thermal monitor, executable disable bit, limit cpuid max, intel virtual tech - all of those were not in my BIOS, so I could not mess with those.

edit: Okay, my High Precision Event Timer was in my Device Manager --> System Devices --> HPET then I just disabled it.

I know for a fact I have never had that perfect recoil on my PC until yesterday, but it only worked on the scrim server, and not the bad pub one, maybe that's just their reg in the server.


edit2: I did change the power options on control panel to performance, changed the min and max processing to 0(or wherever it is), and PCIexpress "link state power management" off.

please, I can bet you that you haven't checked your BIOS. you have to press a certain button after the PC comes on. Check which company you have for PC/motherboard on google, it will tell you which button to press.

I can't help you, XD. schoof has said on the steam forums on the "cs isn't smooth" that EIST and HPET are important to be disabled, those two could potentially causing the recoil effects. If there are ZERO things that you can tweak on your BIOS from schoof's post (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php.. where he explains which to turn off, then I can't help you. I heard there are some admin passwords on some BIOS to access advanced settings, though I am not entirely sure, sorry.

I had a friend who had a similar problem. Everything else was OK. 100fps in CS; CPU/GPU tempeatures ok; right settings etc and my friend´s CS was a bit "choking" and recoil was basicly the same as you. He switched his hdd and solved his problem.

So i think your problem is your hdd. Use this program to see your hdd´s health.

Formatting hdd wouldn´t help but if you have switched it then hdd is not your problem. It´s just one of many possibilities.

Well in this case it´s just a wide guessing what the problem can be as you have same connection, 100fps etc. The only thing you can really do is just start switching hardware parts until you see the problem is fixed. Though one thing you could try is lower hz on your mouse and different USB ports.
