I will buy a new mouse, but idk wich one should I buy.
I have a lot doubts.
So, what is better, laser or optical sensor? why?
And, wich mouse should a choose (I'm looking for a mouse between 40-55€)
kana, kinzu v2, kinzu v2 pro, sensei raw, deathadder?
I have a QcK+ Black, I play with low sensitivity, and I have a medium size hand...

laser its better than optical... it helps too in coloured mousepads but u dont have one so i think for 55€ you should buy some zowie AM or zowie ec1 or ec2...
imo kinzu is too small, kana has horrible buttons, dislike deathadder design,, sensei is OK..
in my opinion u should choose between sensei and zowie...

i say that cause i had xai before and for me xai is the best mouse..
xai buttons are so confortable and than i played with kana and i fell bad with this mouse..

i would never buy laser again because it has no longevity at all it sucks total after 2 years broke each time for me.

Old school mice all the way, my intelli 1.1 a still here still tracks.

And don't use a laser mouse on cloth pad like yours because like my old lachesis 2.0 it might skip because of the sensor that tracks directly to the pad and not on a angle like infrared mices.

Lachesis 2.0 on qpad xl that is not even a thick pad was already skipping without pushing too hard.
Bought a plastic pad from razer that is much smaller :(

That happens to me, I have a shit laser mouse, and sometimes if I move the mouse too fast, it moves to the other direction.

It is not that the mouse is shit, it is because all laser mices are more precise and to be more precise the tracking system points directly Perpendicular to the mouse pad.

Well i guess it is because of that. anyways go for a infrared one you don't need 3500+ dpi on anygame even mmorpg's.

Just a large mousepad that is comfortable like cloth ones with a normal infrared one is perfect. My qck heavy is realy thick and i like the confort + quality better then the qpad UC xl.

playing 6/11 windows, usb boost 500hz and standard dpi (350 or 400) for my intelli.

my g400 400-450 dpi 1000hz windows 6/11

well if it is like that all razer lachesis 1.0, mx revolution, mx1000 would turn off after less then 2 years.


It is a matter of luck i guess i know some people irl and they never had any trouble with the mx1000 for example and lachesis 1.0

There is a % of hardware that isn't gonna last long or has a problem when you just opened the box. Each time we got a laser it broke, i really don't have a lot of luck.

Hell no they're not.. Laser are poor on soft mats. Stay with optical for now. And jitter to buggery on any other surface IMO

Depends on a lot of things, but if you mainly play fps games i would buy an optical mouse..
Great mices imo : DeathAdder 3.5G, Kinzu v1, G400 (Didnt liked the shape of it though).. but if you rlly want a laser mouse i would get xai

Imo optical sensor is better, because the lift off distance is lower. if you have to do a 180 in cs, you would have to lift your mouse, and with a laser sensor, it's like you didn't lift it.

just choosing new mouse too. g400 looks very good. Good sensor, shape,1000 hz default, cheap. DA good sensor, cheap. But both mouses = worse quality. DA buttons, G400 cable.

does anyone have experience with OZONE Xenon or ROCCAT Savu?

and g400 is good toy. they only made terrible mouse cable which fucks up google it. even i remember on this forum there was some tunisian guy which always spamed every single thread like g400 the best so on...

I saw some of your answers to people's opinions and i think you like Kana, I have bought the Kana and it's very good but my problem with it is that sometimes when i'm playing it just turns off and goes back on quickly, and makes me die sometimes :( . Although that problem is not happening anymore and I'm happy :) . Just don't buy Razer.

Any mouse based on Avago 9500 (currently the best laser sensor) sensor will be a great choice. Examples are SpeedLink Kudos, Omega Varr V6000, Prestigio PMSG1, Revoltec Fightmouse Elite, Gigabyte M8000x, Logitech G500, Steelseries Xai, Corsair M60, Corsair M90, Steelseries Sensei (avoid RAW version). Most of the Razer or Steelseries stuff sux in terms of precision. It's only due to huuuuuuge marketing and sponsoring purposes, that's why they are so popular. Not to mention you are overpaying in most of this cases.

Yes, but not so many mice feature it so far. I might be not up to date with it as well. Been not so interested in all the gear recently. That's pretty much the reason I mention 9500 as the best.

yes. 9800 pretty rare(sensei MLG)
9500 rocks hard, it has small accel(minor issue) and tracks godly in high speed. steady choice for CSers :D

however I'm more into optical. it has less problem, I always pick black pad though

3500 DPI Deathadder sux, unless you are able to get the old, 1800 DPI version. And i wouldn't suggest the 2013 version neither. Razer mice have poor sensor which is strongly boosted by software/drivers.

Zowie is the way to go if you want something new. But, intelli 3.0 works superbly on a qck+
Deathadder is a very good mouse though, although quite a high lift off distance :/ Zowie similar but with the lowest liftoff distance on the market.
Deathadder and EC1 are the exact same shape and size. EC2 is smaller but same shape. Zowie AM is ambidextrous, pretty much the same engine though. I believe there's a new NB (neo) one now...
