Following Vienna Mad Catz, a lot of people were wondering and talking about the low amount of people watching streams and how bad the tournament turned out to be. It wasn't that pitiful since the game has been out for less than a year, and at one point Na`Vi vs VG reached 25K, but the final had about 15K which is disappointing. And GOTV needs a fix.
Anyway, it reminded me about the good ol' days of my childhood watching the CPL tournaments and how big of a deal they were. This thread is not to start a 1.6 vs GO argument since I enjoy(ed) both games and enjoyed a lot 1.5 too (never got the chance to play 1.3 but I hear bhop was fun :P)
I stumbled on this video yesterday and I watched it twice; so many legends on all teams, 64 teams tournament, a huge cash prize, lots of viewers.
Yeah, I remember the "Asian invasion" during WEG 2005. Lunatic hai, Abit Strike (Chinese), and some other Korean team came dropping bombs from nowhere. CS:GO needs more azn
this is the difference between 1.6 an go. This video has 18 minute and i watched it all over again , but after 5 minutes of watching go i`m bored to dead.A good game is measured by the emotions and exictement that it gives to the players.And cs 1.6 is / was and probably will be the very best.
