Help! High choke problem. Help!
Guys I'm here looking for help. I recently install Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, everthing works good with Steam and Counter Strike but the only problem is that I get 100 chokes in all the servers i play. I even have Windows XP installed in my system & when i switch to XP and play in the same servers i don't get choke. :O

Any help will be great....thank you.

try rate 25000. :D i was so worried too, and when i checked my rates, i was like OMFG.. and got it fixed. if not, im sorry. =(

Bump!

Just upgraded to Win7 and now i started getting chokes ingame :|

Any kind of help will be appreciated.

reinstal your steam cs and the problem will be solved! And ofcourse 101 101 25000

I am using windows 7 ultimate 64-bit but i dont face any such problem. Anyways try fixing your rates.

reinstall steam and download cs again, then fix rate 25000, cl_updaterate 101 and cl_cmdrate 101. I had the same issue when I switched to win7, but now it's fine. It won't take away more than hour or so to do that :)

In the task manager set the lowest priority possible in steam.exe. I think that will work, trust me.

if your rates are right and you are 100% sure that the sever you are connected to is a good one, then go and get yourself a better ISP
