The great and good of European football are gathering in Kyiv for the UEFA EURO 2012 finals draw which takes place at the city's Palace of Arts at 18.00CET (19.00 local time) on Friday.
Pot 1: Spain, Netherlands
Pot 2: Germany, Italy, England, Russia
Pot 3: Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Sweden
Pot 4: Denmark, France, Czech Republic, Republic of Ireland
There will be 4 groups of 4 teams with 1 team from each pot. Ukraine and Poland receiving the highest seed for being the host countries.
Would be epic to see Spain (Pot 1), Germany (Pot 2), Portugal (Pot 3) and France (Pot 4) in the same group. Perhaps someone can post the groups later today after the group draw.

I'm talking about Poland and Ukraine not about Spain/Netherlands. And i think it's ok to base the rankings mainly on the last World Cup but you must also see that Germany at that point didn't play at their peak (and still they aren't), Germany was probably the youngest team at the World Cup and most players didn't experience a match at such a big stage but they still impressed the most of all teams. Germany has improved a lot since then and still is improving. The match versus the Netherlands non sense to argue about that, Germany was just better. Of course the Netherlands missed some players such as Robben, van der Vaart and van Persie but it was far from being their "B" line-up, they had Sneijder,van Bommel, Huntelaar etc. on the field while Germany also missed at least 2 key players in Lahm and Schweinsteiger. Based on the very latest results it's Germany>Spain/Netherlands.

We lost that game, because Scolari din't put the best midfielders in the starting eleven. He later corrected the problem and we won every single match, except the final where we conceaded one gold after 12312 attacks and so many missed changes. Our keeper, Ricardo, defended poorly in that corner and Charisteas scored an easy goal.

Holland always had a good teams, and they never was a big problem for us, so i believe we can win agaisnt them, Germany imo is the better team of Euro and our chances agaisnt them are low, a draw would be good, about denmark i just feel sorry for them but they can do some damage and who knows, suprise everyone.

Portugal and Denmark are similar teams. If you look at the latest matches it's very even. I'm not saying that Denmark is better, but people are good at looking down at Denmark..
We got a young team, who is getting better and better. Bendtner is starting to score goals, Agger is one of the best central defenders in England, Eriksen will play in Barcelona in two years.

Im pretty sure that Klose will play if he is fit. He is much more "useful" for the team because he have a better technic than Gomez and got huge experience. But Gomez have the killer-instinct. Maybe both will play

Actually, if they play as they did in some matches, i think we have plenty of probabilities to pass the groups. In my opinion, its not that hard. I think denmark will lose to the pressure agaisnt us, holland will also lose as always agaisnt us because we both have very good attacking sides which makes us (and them) a easy opponont to score. Germany will be the hardest one, but if Portugal plays with their full squad (inc R . Carvalho and Bosingwa) and play like they did agaisnt Bosnia (2nd game) and agaisnt some teams in the playoffs, we can win agaisnt them.

Euro is going to be awesome, and right from the start with group B. Hope RVP stays healthy, he is such an impact player. When he is healthy he is definitely world class, easily among top 5 strikers in the world. Obviously I'm a german fan, just looking at the teams in the group Germany is in I think it ll be Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Denmark. I honestly don't think Germany is gonna make it to the final (I hope so though) because we are being arrogant pricks and whenever that happens you get your ass (excuse my french) kicked, might even be good for us so we finally stfu about our "awesome football/soccer team" and go back to our roots: playing crappy football/soccer and still winning :)
