The Swedish organization Hardwire have completed the signing of the Finnish Counter-Strike squad astralis.

The team saw the addition of Atte "VIDI" Hyväkkä, filling the spot Tino "tihOp" Puumala left with his departure to Crack Clan. Today they team up with Hardwire, known to house several mixteams attending various Swedish LAN events.

Max "ruuit" Aspe is very excited about joining the ranks of Hardwire which will make the team able to attend international events, after standing on their feet for some time.

"I'm very happy to be back in the business in a team with sponsors who can support us as good as I just hoped for, I haven't played for a well sponsored team since... it was last year I think? So I'm very very excited to be part of this and hoping to take some championships for our new name", he told HLTV.org

Hardwire now house following Counter-Strike squad:

Juuso "contE" Sajakoski
Samu "plastE" Aalto
Max "ruuit" Aspe
Jirka "jigetuS" Ryhti
Atte "VIDI" Hyväkkä

The team will as mentioned be on display at GameGune 23-25th of July in Bilbao, which will be the first time the team will carry their new tag, at an international event.

there is a little mistake in the blog Max "ruut" Aspe instead ruuit
However i wish them good luck
2009-06-23 22:16:07
They will again exchange players with CC few times, won't achieve good results, so they will fold again, both, and than we go all over again. :) It's Finland...always same stuff :D
2009-06-23 22:19:58
jigetu and ruuit the best :P
2009-06-23 22:20:39
Im my opinion

Pass sponsor and came sponsor, they continue like always just top 8 or 9 in the big competitions.
And with this line i don´t think they gonna have a good position in any competition, all of them are great players and have potential to win any great team but most showed for them is don´t pass the 5 position
2009-06-23 22:24:10
Sometimes i think i'll go insane if I try to follow these Finnish guys.
2009-06-23 22:32:03

2009-06-23 23:05:13
would be nice if the fin(n?)ish kept a team and went far :D
2009-06-23 23:11:02
Yeah its FiNNish =)
But Finland :P Or Winland
2009-06-24 01:01:49
thanks :p

I reckon if a finnish team can stick together for long enough and have pateince they could go far :>
2009-06-24 18:05:20
I agree

Roccat (69n-28e) at the time were top 5 and could have been like top 3 if they would have stick together and practise. I hope either astralis or rootz goes far.
2009-06-24 20:21:14
contE, plastE, ruuit and another looks very nice.

tihop left for CC, that's where he wanted to go.
2009-06-24 00:37:35
I still think the best lu was plaste conte ruuit nasu lurppis, when they actually trained. I dont like tihop that much :/

Btw imo ruuit ≥ plaste

2009-06-24 01:11:56
ruuit nice awp!
2009-06-24 01:46:27
It will be wery interesting in WCG Finland qual. when 2 top fins teams will face (Crack Clan vs Hardwire) :)
2009-06-24 11:07:29
Hopefully Hardwire really has money to provide the team with flights and hotels to events abroad. The Swedish community at fragbite seems to be extremely sceptical about hardwire who supposedly have no sponsors. GL though
2009-06-24 11:51:17
i give them 2months
2009-06-24 11:54:42
optimistic, Ill give them 1 month :D
2009-06-24 12:28:04
:D
2009-06-24 15:15:36
are you serious?

TWO WEEKS MAX.
after that they will change some players with CC
2009-06-25 16:40:51
damn i was so wrong, it was more like two days..
2009-06-26 06:52:54
Again I`m not surprised. For me it`s quite boring... Teams from Finland are changing every month.
I hope that this team has been created with the aim of winning something big.
GL Hardwire
2009-06-24 15:14:30
HW > cc
2009-06-24 16:56:01
teamswitched again -_-
2009-06-24 17:41:53
They didn't switch teams really. Astralis was just a temporary name that they took. Now they have joined an organisation which hopefully can provide decent support
2009-06-24 19:02:29
Lol ! Please stop this name changes.
