ESC Gaming have decided to recruit Christian "todi" Hackmann from TBH.eSports.
HLTV.org reported last week that ESC Gaming were in the market for a new fifth solution after Christoph "nabeo" Maurer had decided to step down from the team.
It was also confirmed that former Alternate man David "CHEF-KOCH" Nagel would be on show for ESC Gaming at GameGune 2009 - taking place from July 23 to 25 in Bilbao, Spain.
However, ESC Gaming have now announced that Nagel will be replaced by Hackmann, who has been released from TBH.eSports along with the rest of the team.
ESC Gaming had brought Nagel in to their GameGune line-up with a view to adding the player on a permanent basis but when he declined the offer to continue after the Spanish event, the German team were forced to look elsewhere for a new fifth.
Christoph "loomit" Normann is confident the new addition will be a big hit for ESC and will be aiming high at GameGune.
"Our goals for GameGune depend on the teams that are going to attend but overall I would say that reaching the top 5 would be a good start to work with in the future," Normann told HLTV.org.
ESC Gaming have now:
Christoph "loomit" Normann
Dominik "d0m AZ" Wrabetz
Lucas "recki" Reckermann
Wolfgang "tankJr" Maurer
Christian "todi" Hackmann
