Millenium win WCG France

The French qualification for World Cyber Games 2009 concludes as Millenium win 16-10 against Esport-Eu.

The Grand Final should in many eyes, have consisted of Millenium and oXmoze, to be the ultimate showdown of the two team’s current form. The former emuLate squad did however crash in the semi-final against Esport-Eu, and failed to reach the overall final. Instead Esport-Eu were granted the spot against Millenium.

Millenium was then set as the favorite to qualify for the 2009 Grand Finals in Chengdu, China. The team did also put up strong play in the first half, starting CT on train. Millenium took a 12-3 lead, before Esport-Eu switched to CT. Esport-Eu cashed in the pistol-round win and the following eco-rounds Millenium was forced on. Millenium did however climb to reach the four rounds they needed, to win 16-10 and qualify for World Cyber Games 2009.

Not suprised, Mill is the most talented team in France of late, suprised that oXmoze aka emuLate! has been slipping lately, there not playing like their WCG Champions self lately. But glad to see the best team in France competing in WCG this year. GO SIXER!!
