Cheater caught at WCG Brazil?

That is right, you read it well. It has come to light that one player cheated during the Brazilian qualifier for the World Cyber Games.

For the past days, there had been suspicions that Pedro "aSpx" Slatovisk from ECO.COBRA had cheated during the WCG qualifier, which took place at the o2 LAN House in São Paulo last weekend.

ECO.COBRA were one of the big surprises at the qualifier, placing 4th-5th, with Slatovisk named by many as the big revelation of the tournament. However, his playing style ringed alarm bells in some of his opponents during the competition, and the suspicions have now apparently been confirmed.

Despite being the team's captain, Slatovisk would always sit at the end of the table, with his monitor facing the wall, to prevent anyone from watching him. According to reports, he would get really nervous every time someone tried to stay behind the team and would demand their immediate leave.

Below you can find the video made about Slatovisk's play, which leaves little doubt about the legitimacy of his actions.


The consequences of his actions are still unknown, but ECO.COBRA's prizes will most likely be given to another team.

About judges behind the team, there was one but he was so fucking idiot that he just set down to avoid "getting tired".

he didnt used WH, it was some kind of radarhack that u only see the other team white spots

so admins just could notice in the beginning of the rounds or in x1 situations, but he was smart, while the other 4 players was working to enter a bombsite, he was on the other side of the map killing everyone

I don't think that he's cheating problably a bunch of noobs do. Simply there's no inside game sound in the video... the stupid guy who've done this video had only recorded when we was killing he didn't fallow the all round.. so a lot of frags were because of the team communication and ingame sound others were just random luckyshots. in the midl when he shots the guy in the boost throw the smoke u can see something in the hltv and is one of the oldest tatics used by crashers like one crashers former player said. I'm not shore that 1 guy using wh woulded pass so discret in a crowded lan with a lot of people behind them watching them play.. In the end a lot of guys were hungry because they lose and now that same noobs are trying to get excuses... i've seen worst frags in lan and the guys weren't using hacks..

So is it confirmed he actually cheated? Because frankly the stuff in this video is everything but blatant. I wonder why the person who made this video didn't leave the ingame sounds there, most of the stuff can be explained with just that.

The rest could easily be just normal frags from a player with good sense for playing.

Then again some of it looks pretty suspicious.. :D
