UMX-Gaming not attending WCG

Event: WCG 2009

Once again a team is unable to attend the WCG Grand Finals, this time however it is not because of VISA rules as seen many times before, but instead a case of influenza H1N1.

Zotob.org is reporting that UMX-Gaming have chosen not to attend the WCG Grand Finals from fear that two of their members may be infected with Influenza A. Zian "Cedrik" Chen and Jiaheng "Kandinsky" Chen have both been showing symptoms. The team was paired with TyLoo, Nextlevel, F.azer.Z and AGAiN in group G, their withdrawl means the group will be reduced to 4 teams, as it had 5 originally it should not mean moving any teams around.

WCG has prepared a H1N1 prevention plan to help combat the spread of the virus, hopefully ensuring that all gamers can attend and return home without being exposed to H1N1.

Swine flu strand is the exact same strand as the regular flu. media played it WAY WAY WAY out of proportions. The death tolls are almost identical to those of the last few years from the normal flu. what a joke
