Any society must have a balance between what's allowed to minorities, and what's not. That is why USA has banned gay marriages, even though they do proclaim themselves "free state n1". You give one minority a freedom to do what they want, and a thousand other minorities will emerge crying to give them freedom, too. The only possible result is chaos.
