Sure, but, as I just stated in #34, as to me he still plays/played related games (we are not talking about pacman that is) and 'player' is more general than the games themselves.
That way even 1.6 is a, to some extent, totally different game taking into account the beginning of the decade ;)

Futsal is created out of football, futsal was created because footballers wanted something to do when the fields outside were too cold/snowy or whatever, to play on. Futsal has developed into a separate sport the latest years. :P

I've watched walle, like I've watched Potti, fisher, ahl, SpawN and Heaton. Walle was good, but in my opinion is nowhere near these guys, in terms of being an "AWP Fragger". It's like, you give one of these guys a big green, and you know they're going to produce something.

He was a pioneer on using quick scope and no scope, he discovered many of the spots awp players use these days to peek on opponents, and i would say he was the one that showed us how to be more aggressive with the awp, using it on offensive strategies, which was something that not many teams where doing back then.
I reckon that most of the votes he is getting are from fanboys who don't know of his past, and clearly that are some players on the list (like cogu for example) who have much more memorable awp frags than he has, but he deserves to win just because of how much he changed the sniper playing style.

In my opinion the player of the decade award should go to DSN/WALLE. They are the only players that have been successfully active on the pro 1.6 scene for a huge period of time with no breaks. Cogu was probably the best awper in 2006, we can't just deny he wasnt a good one. However, we are not only talking about that year, everybody have their moment too! ok frod is and was always overrated. he is a great awper, but he got to shine a whole lot vs NA teams(which are simply not as good in competition). the likes of lex, and a few other top awpers shut frod down in more than a few games with their awps. so if frod was the best awper of all time, i doubt he would have such a consistently poor showing vs other top awpers. walle is not even the main awper on his team atm, never understood why people considered him such an amazing awper. probably that 1 demo vs x6. dsn is a good awper, but not nearly close to the best. ksharp definitely had his moments in the early years, however he couldnt hold a handle to some of the new players that started to rise. out of that list, cogu is hands down the winner. he has always been consistant with it, and at times did the most jaw dropping things u can imagine. there are other awpers however that this list could have included... rwa, kk, sally, lex, jungle, ton, hpx, shaguar.. any1 of these guys should have been here over ksharp or dsn.

Someone who achieve something through his awp shots should generally be better than someone doing one good tournament and never be as good again? Cs is a team game, a lonely wolf who shoots 3 every rounds still loses isn't a better player than someone who can co-operate with his team and take important clutch rounds.

Well I mean people don't give cogu enough credit, he was one of the most feared, and dead accurate awp users in the world for 2-3 years. The guy was amazing,all of these players have amazing awps.

I'm cogu´s girlfriend, and im really sad about "fakes cards" that the brazilian had criated (if the story was truth)... But we can judge all brazilians, alot of people like me has voted in cogu 'cause we think that he deserves and are better than walle, talking about what he means to the country, mibr and all the brazilian community in this years...
