This is the first of four cups that represent the first stage of ESL Major Series Spring 2013 season. Teams will collect points with their ranking in each of the cups and in the end the best 16 will move on to the group stage of EMS.

10 teams have qualified thanks to their achievements from the Winter 2012 season, while the rest were filled up from the current A-Series based on their ranking on the day of the cup.
