IEM5 European Championship Finals
Info

Twelve teams have reached the European Championship Finals, taking place at the Kiev CyberSport Arena January 20-23. $50,000 is up for grabs, with $20,000 for first place. Defending champions are the German team mousesports, but with teams such as Natus Vincere, the new SK and fnatic squads, as well as mTw, Frag eXecutors and more, it is likely they will get a run for the money.

The event will kick off Thursday with the group-stage, which will finalize on Friday. First place in the groups will advance directly into the semi-finals, while second and third placed teams will qualify for the quarter-finals. The playoffs, which will be single-elimination and best-of-three maps, will begin on Saturday and finish with the Grand Final on Sunday.

Tune in through the four days to follow all of the action from Kiev, also make sure to set you Dreamteam and participate in the betting contest, if you want to get your hands on some new gaming gear.
