IEM6 Global Challenge Guangzhou

The first global challenge in the sixth season of the Intel Extreme Masters to feature Counter-Strike will take place in Guangzhou and will see eight teams play for two spots to the IEM6 World Championship in 2012, as well as a cut of the $40,000 prize purse.

The tournament will begin in a group stage, two groups of four teams, with two teams from each advancing to the playoffs.

Playoffs will be played best-of-three maps in a single-elimination bracket.
