The age when you started PLAYING CS 1.6

Well... I have recently watched this situation quite closely..People says they have started playing cs when it first day come outs..Some says 8-10 years old..Well I know most of you are not playing all the time and so on..
But I just was thinking what do you do besides cs..I mean what are you doing for keeping you in good shape and fit? How many of you guys example train something like 10 hours a week ( football, floorball, ice hockey etc..
Because I have been recently sub of teacher in school. It was kind of very sad picture what I show..Kids ages of 12-15 comes in gym..First thing they do before all starts drink some energy drink and eat some candy.. And most of them can play example football 15 mins..Then they are already wasted and say: Teacher I am sick, I say back: Well I can't believe this but go ahead and rest before your hearth will kill y..
I know he hadn't sleep like nothing last night. But I just couldn't go ask him why don't you sleep at nights. In most important growing period for kids. Well as I heard later they were playing whole night CS :)
I haven't even played CS before 20 years old..I am almost change age as some proes here..But I aint gonna be pro :D
And I know some players has died accidents because staying all night
Ps. Share your thoughts about what are you hobbies that keep you good health.

I started playing CS in a age of 7 years. Now dont get me wrong, i know i didnt play as much as I do now. I maybe was over at my cousin 2 or 3 times a month, and we enjoyed, well I enjoyed playing it.
When i got my first computer in a age of 11 i also bought CS, starting playing gungame and so on.
When i found out there were professional teams, earning money on playing their favorite game, it really opened my eyes for a new world.
That was in a age of 12. It was then i started to learn spots in different maps, tactics, and started playing mix and such. Till then i had only played fun mods.
I really don't do any sport, but I do run once or twice a week, just to keep myself in good shape :)
When i got my first computer in a age of 11 i also bought CS, starting playing gungame and so on.

I started playing CS 6-7 years ago for just a half year and then I had like 2 years break (I used to play other games: WoW, DotA mainly) and till then I'm playing without small breaks for 3 years (Now I'm 14). I also play for a football team and I practice 4 times a week and I like doing street fitness as well.

i played it the first time at my friends house at the end of 1.5, it mustve been 2003. i was around 10yrs old. i started playing regularly some time after source first came out.

i stared playing CS when i was 6 years old.. now i am 15 but i quit CS like a half year ago... during these 9 years i played basketball, football and florball..

13 yo, now I'm 21. I started playing in 2003 and I quited in the end of 2009 (I was 19) and didn't play the whole year in 2010. In 2011 I played in my vacations of University and nowadays I almost don't play CS. I'm playing some Action RPGs and waiting for Diablo 3 or Torchlight 2 to launch.
From 2003 to 2007 I played basketball regularly, something like 20 hours/week and I was always skinny. Then I move to other city and in 2008 and 2009 I did nothing to get in shape and used to drink and smoke a lot, and a I used to sleep late and feed realy bad. In 2010 I started boxing and bodybuilding, started to work, sleep early, feed well and I get about 10Kg until now :D

I started playing when I was 10 years old, in 2001, I discovered the CS competition 1 year later in 2002, and started playing CS matches 1 year after in 2003.
I learned 2000(6 y.o.) and I started as a full time 2008

first time i played cs i was around 11 now im 22, been very on and off, mostly off :P. have always been training, from like 7 years of age i played football and doing cross country skiing, was like doing that til i was like 16-17 years old and after taht ive been in the gym like 3-4 times every week lifting weights :D.
And ye it was pretty common when i was like 12-15 to go and stay the nights at internetcafes playeing cs, was alot at my local icafe spacebar atleast, that was the times :D

me in 2001-2002 in lan cafes with my friends, we were so young then at the beggining we have watched older gamers how to play etc. after two-three months we started to play cs 1.3 I think, together on lan game or sometimes online, soo great times <3 when everyone had their own computer in home, we played together in lan network too, we lives in the same block, when one friend moved to other city, I started to play only online. In 2006 I bought a steam account but I've played in CS:Source with net friends :P In the beggining of 2009 I quit playing cs:s(because of ESWC 2008 final, I watched this and I decided to comeback to classic cs, started playing ESL league gathers,mixes etc. to be just like other top players. In the beggining of 2009 I found hltv.org and started to watch pro players more and more, now I'm almost 21 y.o so I'm much better, much smarter etc. :D just <3 this game

Started playing back in 2000 or 2001 I believe when it was beta4. I remember that I was about 12 years old at the time, am now 24. I've quit playing it twice since then, both times for about a year and both times because of my girlfriends (:D). I used to practice all kinds of sports to keep myself in shape like football, badminton, swimming and basketball, but these days I'm afraid I'm just a lazy old bum :(

I was 10/11 when I started playing, but it was never anything serious back then. I'm really passionate about football, so I've always managed to stay really fit due to playing football actively several times a week. Later years I've also started training at gyms, so no problem in the physical condition. My rhytm of sleep isn't very good though, I have to admit that I've stayed up at night to play CS or any other game.
since first beta in 99. I was 13, but I had played other FPS way before that, like Doom, Wolfenstien, Outlaws and Half-Life

I remember Ricochet but never played it. I used to play Half Life Deathmatch and Wolfenstein (omaha beach) :)

Started at 12, back in September 2000.
To stay fit I go to the gym. I used to be an avid skier and play a lot of tennis but I recently had knee surgery so all of that has come to a permanent end.
Oh and education > computer games. Always.

Lol I guess I started playing counter-strike the latest. I got 1.6 in January 2011... man I wish that I got the chance to play during 06' etc. Well, it's been a year, and i've had alot of fun with 1.6, and i'll stay until CS2. I did play CS around 8 years ago, but only for like 5 minutes at a LAN center. I'm 19^^

I started when "NATO" bombing Yugoslavia in 1999 as kids we played in LAN(5vs5 or 3vs3),only chit was to look at someone else's monitor i like jump from 1.3 & deagle shot :) At that time we played (cs_cock,cs_assault_upc,cs_italy,cs_militia,cs_office,de_dust)...later we start "de_" ,maps...so long time maybe 12yrs...

yeah the first time i played was 1.0 in 2000(10 years old) didnt get serious til 1.4-1.5.. pretty much quit in 04-05 and played on and off since then.. now im trying to relieve my past in 2012 :D

After that a huge pause .

I was 7-9 years old when i played my first official clan match : D Before that i had been playing publics and alot of pcw.
i started playing CS at the age of 11 or 12 i dont remember now im 18 and i dont play it ;] i practice mixed martial arts 2 times a week and i work out in the gym:) playing dota for fun. Im only a spectator on 1.6 scene and mainly team bulgaria :)

and played only CoD mods, and in october focused on clan gaming, still am a bit noobish, but my skill is pretty good :D

I played it for the first time when I was about 14.I don't know which map it was but it was capture the flag mode..soon I lost interest because it was boring playing the same mode all the time.i didn't know much about cs that time. I hardly played the game for a week. Again at 16 I started to know more about the game because everybody in school talked about cs. From then on I became an addict. Now I'm 18 :o
I surely missed spawn, Heaton and other legends.
Now I play tennis in the weekends. Football and cricket when all my friends gather.
