Downfall:The Uprising

People must be wondering what does my blog actually means. Well people in here are talking that CS 1.6 is on the way to it's end. I myself have been supporting CS 1.6. According to me a game which has been in the Top 3 for almost a decade.Which has a fan following in thousands. A game which is still prioritized more then many other games in the market by the Organizations and Sponsors. Why is it still dying? How could someone just say that it is dying when we have all what we want. How could people say that it is dead when we got people like
nixon and nomad. Websites like HLTV.org, Fragbite.se, Gotfrag.com and many more. How can a game die if people are creating a living out of it? People like Rahim, cyberarena.tv, denuke, ESL, Steam and obviously those hundreds of site which are covering E-sports CS 1.6 has been a part of their major concerns for almost a decade. How can a game die when we are always breaking our own spectator records from event to event.

The only reason i could think off is us. We are the one's who are responsible if the game die's one day. We all fight like kids on the forums when someone claims that CS:Source is better then Cs:1.6. Can you tell me who had made CS 1.6 better? It is the players who make the game. If no one would be playing CS 1.6. Who know's CS:Source
would have been in the place where CS 1.6 is. We enjoy every bit of the fights and laugh on it afterwards ignoring the fact that defending it wont increase it's chances of survival. We enjoy every bit of the tournaments. See them at home have coffee and cookies. Afterwards have a lanparty at home and tell friends "Oh! Hey i learned a new tactic lets try that" or "Oh! Hey i saw forest doing this. Look it's so cool".We never consider the fact that how much they work hard
for this game. We have never considered the fact that these
players give up their whole lives to play this game. They have been playing a main role in the survival of this game. They give up their social lives their friends and family. What have we done? What right do we have to say that i have a role in the survival of this game? The fact is that we all have lost hope. We never think that we could ever be a part of international gaming. So we just watch the matches to either stay updated or to impress friends.

What could be the solution? We have the people to represent the game. All we need is players. Players who really have the lust to win. Who really could stood up just like Na`Vi did. Just like how lemondogs never lost hope. Organizations like Lions and Anexis who never give up on their teams. I am an Asian and i can say that we have never been a regular part of the international gaming. But the potential we have
we could still give tough competition. A team like TyLoo which gave
a really tough time to SK in WCG. Pakistani team U5 which really stood up against EG. India is being criticized by many these days. But the potential they have cant be neglected. Every continent need's to improve in it's own category. Europe need's more players to join in rather then crying for the one's who leave. They have soo much more then we do. They just need the passion and lust to win. Asian countries need sponsors and organizations who could help them to travel. Sponsors like steelseries should also support these teams. People are playing here by investing from their own pockets.
We travel from city to city on our own expense just to play tournaments. Only 500$p/m to a team could make a change.
All i have to say is Defending CS will not make it stronger. We need to support the existing teams and grow our community.
People need to make teams work hard rather then sit at home and have lan party's weekly. This is the uprising of the downfall we are about to face. So we need to step up and take the matter in our own hands
and then every match you win will be a contribution to the survival of this game. This is all i have to say.Sorry if i said something wrong or if i hurt someone's feelings.
Great BLOG keep it up ! =]

you will find 1000 of 1.6 teams in PAKISTAN , out of which 95% are onliners and the rest(5%) have no idea how to play internationally .
2012-06-01 23:59:25
Thats what you think lol
2012-06-02 00:02:53
thats what i know and will always be the same, have you ever seen our strats ? they are freaking awful .. if that's not enough go watch WCG stats
2012-06-02 00:08:39
The Ukrainian cs scene was pretty messed up aswell look at them now
2012-06-02 00:14:02
Hey sup zaby i've never seen you around here.
Do you remember me?
2012-06-02 11:47:41
You sir know nothing about cs scene in Pakistan we need sponsers and organization people in here got shit load of potential they can own ppl like u day and night "rest 5% have no idea how to play internationally" loled people here know more about cs then themselves

2012-06-02 00:08:56
SPEAKING of potential YES we have lot of potential , but the main point is there won't be any sponsors cuz no-one here see gaming as professionalism , secondly PAKISTANI'S can't even reach top20 internationally or can't even go thru group stage even if they any how got thru they won't be able to go ahead .
2012-06-02 00:13:16
dude no sponsers is the main cause of our shitty gaming on international level we play one major event in a single year and they play like 20 30 they got incredible bootcamps where they can practise like retards
2012-06-02 00:17:39
ok , you got sponsors steelseries and xyz but whom you gonna practice with ? have you ever seen our pings ? you think SK/FNATIC/NAVI/ESC will even play a single round with 200+ping ?
2012-06-02 00:31:56
i agree that not having sponsors deos make a significant amount of difference but ive seen gamers spend more time and money at gaming zones than home. where they may be good aim wise, they can never get close to the top teams tactic wise. its gonna take at least 3-4 years for them to come "close" to the likes of SK, ESC, M5, WinFakt and the rest. i can gaurentee u the mid tier teams (according to world ranking) are a lot better than pakistans "TOP TEAMS". even after putting in a lot of hours playing on LAN, the teams of our country fail to "LEARN". what can u expect from the players of a country whose top teams IGL says watchin demos is BORING :/
2012-06-02 01:22:22
^this what i was trying to say ..
2012-06-02 11:37:59
u mean to say 95% of the cs gamers know how to play internationally ?? and the rest 5% who play on Lan zones dont know ??
2012-06-02 00:23:04
did i said that ? no . what i meant was the rest(5%)LAN gamers who qualifies for WCG or other international events have no idea
2012-06-02 00:29:23
ok uve just made a fool of urself! :P
2012-06-02 01:00:42
i don't think so :O
2012-06-02 11:38:19
dun try n show the fact that ur one of the 5% lanners noob shayan ali khan :P
2012-06-02 01:01:20
lolol ... +1 :P
2012-06-02 04:45:26
i cant stand false impressions of our already deprived gaming scene around the world..
2012-06-02 11:04:31
+1
2012-06-02 11:47:03
say wat ever u want 2 say but its a fact. when pakistani teams go abroad, they get SLAUGHTERED even against mid level teams! they dont have a chance of winning. so the saying "ghar k sher, bahar k choohay" fits perfectly here!

players in pakistan would know theres a f0rest in eMz but wont know about Patrick Lindberg!

you think, he's gonna listen ? they will never accept the fact CS in PAKISTAN has no future .
2012-06-02 16:23:19
my job is sound it out. its his problem if hes willing to listen or not. n honestly, as hes the member of "Dx", supposedly one of te best clans in pakistan, he has the same mentality as the rest: "me baap hu, sab L hain meray samne"! thats what they go by!
2012-06-02 17:38:13
+1, attitude is always a problem in pakistani clans they think as if they are the boss and everyone they play against are the worst players and don't know shit . and they will never learn which is the big factor, they don't know shit about this world TBH .
2012-06-02 17:53:11
You're really being rude you know that right? and i dont appreciate that
2012-06-02 17:58:58
I'm not, JEEZZ . how hard is it to accept the fact ?
2012-06-02 18:02:08
Who have you seen in here claiming that they dont accept the fact? You are just criticizing your own people for no reason. You are an ambassador of your country in an international forum and just see how are you representing your country..

I personally dont agree with you that it will take 4 5 years for the team our team to improve internationally.

2012-06-02 18:19:05
oh wait, lie and hide the facts ? this would be your way to represent PAKISTAN but not mine . what you want me to do ?

PAKISTAN IS THE BEST 1.6 TALENT COUNTRY?
PAKISTAN IS THE WORLD'S BEST ECONOMY ?

just fucking accept the fact, there wasn't, isn't and won't be any future for COUNTER STRIKE in PAKISTAN
2012-06-02 18:49:23
Who the hell is lying and who the hell is ignoring the facts? Quote me if i am doing? or anyone else in this blog?
You are forcing your own opinions onto others.

I never told you too say that Pakistan has the best talent. But you have no right to say that they dont have the potential. If you cant play or dont want too. You should not just blame people around that they should quit gaming.

If you criticize there should be a motive or a valid reason. You are just whining around to be the cool one
2012-06-02 19:35:07
LOL , i just can't stop laughing my freaking ass off !! i don't want to even comment anymore further .. HAHAH OH GOD !!
2012-06-02 19:40:19
People usually act that way when they do not have a reply
2012-06-02 19:46:51
i can argue with your senseless defending all day night , but i don't want too .. so you WIN !!
2012-06-02 19:48:09
thanks
2012-06-02 19:52:18
and as for your info, if you don't know who i am/where have i played at what level better not say it ..

2012-06-02 22:39:32
lol man u cant sound ne more pathetic. u cant accept the fact that our level of gaming is no good when its not.

n dun make the mistake of thinkin u knw me cause u dont. m not the one who brings politics in the game!
2012-06-04 04:45:04
Well ur talking about attitude evryone got shit load of attitude i can name get right for u know the rest urself one without attitude is considered a dumbfuck
2012-06-02 22:42:41
that is exactly what im talkin abt. having attitude when u are something is different. being beaten like a pulp and still having attitude makes u a dumbfuck and a douche bag!

n stop comparing pakistani players attitude to GTR. all their game combined wont match up to his.
2012-06-04 04:50:02
Ok.Now u can enjoy ur stay at Canada and lick some pussies ur a fking disgrace no more talk with u sasstay u need to change ur thinking

2012-06-04 10:01:14
well i'd agree with oldskool. i know people personally think the opposite team are a bunch of noobs who we can easily beat and in the end get thrashed and the attitude never changes.
i mean what would you expect when the groups and matches in the countrys biggest tournament i.e WCG are decided according to the will of 'some' people.
when you involve politics in any sport then expect nothing other then the DOWNFALL.
2012-06-04 11:51:24
lol man get a life. lick pussies....HAHAHA wat a loser!!!
2012-06-04 23:01:17
CHILLAX zaBy.Reality sucks HAHAHHAHA ab har kisi ka meri tarah level nahin hota
2012-06-05 09:41:50
boy the day you learn to conquer your fears.. u will succeed.. we were never born with CS skillz.. we learnt it thru experience.. we used to think just like you when you called us one of the best clans of pakistan.. the day you really believe that your opponents are just as human as you.. you will defeat them.. really sad to read your spiteful thoughts..
2012-06-02 20:42:24

2012-06-02 22:47:37
exactly his point. the players in here never accept the fact that they can be beaten, they arnt some immortal freaks who you cant even come close to no matter what you do.
2012-06-04 11:53:15
humans have different levels of skills and the europeans are just better at it. it will take some time for us to get to that level. first thing we have to start to accept our own faults and try n improve them but i dont see that happening! if u are learning, duznt mean others are as well. just cause u think in a certain way, it dont mean that others think in that positive manner.
2012-06-04 23:08:02
Do you really think that Pakistani clan's are responsible for this? Do you really think they like being slaughtered? or do you think they are happy with a tournament once a year and never get to represent themselves internationally.

What exactly are you criticizing them for?
Because they play the game or because they dont ?
2012-06-02 18:15:58
partly YES they are responsible for it. they have more interest in "tasals" than playin good sport! most of the times ive seen teams say: "salay chuyte noobs thay. danday lag gae. hamara ame nai chala." people arent ready to accept their mistakes and learn from them. and dont even try to say im wrong cause u n i both know i am right. dont try n think that just cause u think in a certain way, other would too. first we have to change the way we think in order to progress!
2012-06-02 19:58:16
Maybe you're right about certain people but that's not the case with everyone.

Even if i agree with your point what else do we have rather the tussle? How many tournaments do we have a year? How many teams are sponsored or get a chance to represent themselves? As i mentioned in the blog every continent need's to improve in it's own category and players in our continent are at their maximum level required. When the maximum level required will increase obviously they will improve. Until then if they have a reason to play what's so bad in that
2012-06-02 20:05:14
there is no maximum level required for a certain field fahad. everyone field has something new to offer every single day. all u have to do is change that mentality that this is the most i can do because this is the limit. sky is the limit.
2012-06-04 04:52:13
well i gues what hes trying to say is 95% of the people are just online gamers and are no good at lan .. and the 5% of the players which are good at lan know nothing about international gaming .. i hope iam right lol ...
2012-06-02 14:12:17
Yes there are teams in Pakistan. But the passion and lust to win is decreasing day by day because everyone know's that it is impossible for us to represent ourselves internationally
2012-06-02 11:48:39
tHE TIME will change everything . Dont be worry =D
2012-06-02 11:51:54
The time will change everything but are you sure it will be according to my expectation?
2012-06-02 12:02:54
Well, I wouldn't exactly say that 1.6 is being prioritised by sponsors.
2012-06-01 23:02:29
I never said it is the only game. I said it is one of the games. You dont agree with me? Then how is Cs 1.6 a part of the tournaments?
2012-06-02 10:11:54
pri·or·i·tize   [prahy-awr-i-tahyz, -or-] verb, pri·or·i·tized, pri·or·i·tiz·ing.
verb (used with object)
1.
to arrange or do in order of priority: learning to prioritize our assignments.
2.
to give a high priority to.
2012-06-02 11:03:59
"A game which is still prioritized
more then many other games in the market by the Organizations and sponsors."

I said it is prioritized by many other games. I never said it is the only game..

Nice blog mahn..yeah you are totally right..Pakistan and India have ample potential skillwise..its just that they lack exposure..iremember one of these days i asked the IGL of Ate gaming as to why the hell are they losing every single match easily against the top teams and if they can ever beat SK and all those teams..and his reply was the same..they are lacking exposure..they dont find any weakness skillwise..and after watching some demos..even i do feel the same..

Good one ^_^
2012-06-02 04:52:44
great blog dude! I think reddit could be an interesting way to make our community more noticeable, look at how SC2 gets more sponsors than LoL, a game that doubles its specs numbers, just by having their people posting and sharing info in TL.net, Reddit and creating hype on the social networks and attending their events to make noise.

I wish we had more casters, we need to have people streaming CS regularly as well.

PS: big respects to Anexis and WinFakt like you said, they both deserve an award, unlike some german orgas that gave up easily *cough* mTw and mouz *cough*

2012-06-02 14:37:52
shit man, i thought this is going to be about the downfall, one of the best movies about WW2
2012-06-02 19:57:45
aww i feel sorry for you xd
2012-06-02 20:45:43
Everyone have their own perspective,What i beleive is,there is no one to sponsor rather then the willingness of people to sponsor.
We don't have business investors, who do you think will invest on a game? :P
2012-06-02 20:09:51
Would help if we had decent internet connection, we have the potential skill wise but I have never seen any team with outstanding tactics, but apart from maybe fury pre-wcg I havent seen any team practicing strats, rest just play mix style and the standard of our callers are not very good either.

There is no platform for teams to get noticed there are only few reliable tournaments where all good teams participate, sponsors cant act on what they have heard or someone is saying our community needs to stand out and prove that we are good enough, unfortunately we can only do that via attending international tournament or by online leagues against international asian teams.
2012-06-03 01:27:10
Hacking is killing the game in my opinion
