My Life.

Hello everyone.
My name is Benai, yes that's my name, not a joke, I like it, anyway. I live in Curitiba, Brazil. I came here to talk a lil about me and for practice my english skill too. I can say that Counter-Strike 1.6 save my life. Yes that's what you read and that's very true. I was born and raise in the projects call COHAB Novo Mundo in Curitiba. I grown up playing soccer and other stuff that I don't know how to call it in english but I can say that it was the only good things that I did in my childhood. My momma was crazy, she had some disease that doctors never know what it was, until this days. When I was 6 years old, she tried to kill me twice with a knife and other stuff. I used to had my ass beat up by her every single day. Some I started get out to the streets and sleep anywhere. One thing came with another and that was when I started to hang around with my thug friends in my neighborhood. We used to rob some places, lilttle things, just for eat something. Things just got worst and at age 11 I started to smoke weed and cigarrets. After that, at 13 I used crack cocaine for the first and last time in my life.
Maybe you asking yourself where and how CS1.6 save my life. Back in 2003, that was the boom of cyber and lan house in Brazil. We and my homeboys started to go there and play a lil, but we don't have much money to play for a long time there. Maybe I was very luck, but I learned the game fast and some boys called me for training there cause the owner was picking some boys to represent his cyber in tournaments. So, at age 14, I enter deep in this game and started to stay just in the cyber and keep my homeboys away from me more and more. I started to work at age 15, when I was 16, I got 2 jobs and study at night. Every single money I got, I spend just necessary, and today, or better, 3 years ago, I bought a cyber in Curitiba.
That's a lil about me that a want to share with some people around the world. I never tell my history to anyone, cause some people fear me a lot for where im from and what I did in my life, but now I see that I need to pass through all that things to put my head in the right place and to be someone in life. My momma still crazy, she used to beat up everdy day, she used to say that I was an error and that I wouldn't been born, but know that I see things clear, I can say that I love her.
Some of my homeboys die, some of them are in jail theses days, or drug dealing, but I love they too, they teach me how to live in the streets and how I can separate bad for good and learn something about all that.

Every single word it's true. I just tell a lil about me and my history. I mess with so much other things. That make me grown up with no fellings at all about nothing. But I learning about it know. I trying to be a better person and don't end like my homeboys. Thank You. Maybe in the future I could tell the whole thing more deep.

I can say CS saved my life too. I had it hard at home and in school, and CS was the only light in my life for several years.
I have always wonder what I should be when I grow up and the only thing that really interested me was becomming a CS pro. And it still am...
I have no fucking idea what I wanna do with my life now that the pro scene is dying.

Thank you all folks. There is many things that I didn't mention here, because I don't how to say that in english, like I almost got shot a couple times, my homeboy and best chilhood friend die in front of me with 3 shots in the chest, he died in my arms, that was just a lil part, I couln't told all the details. I never done that before telling this to some much people and turn it public.But once again thank you all for say something, it really means a lot to me.

Why I would came here to tell you all a lie? That's nonsense. Last night when I wrote this, some memories hit me hard, when that happen I can't sleep and that happens frequently. I already read some people here share things about personal life here and it was good for me, make me felt better. I don't use to do that and I don't need to prove nothing to nobody. I told there that I work since 15 years old but I already did other stuffs when I was younger than that. I don't know how to say it in english but it was "Auxiliar de pedreiro, planfleto". A good piece came from another "activities" that I don't want to mention. I never spend a lot of money in nothing, I always safe almost everything that I won. Beside that, I worked for the guy that sold the cyber for me, so he pass me that with a price very much lower than actually need to be. I'm a lilttle luck on that too, but even if I didn't bought the cyber, I can say that I could buy a new car with the money that I got. Resuming, I keep money with me since 11, 12 years old.

so i don't think cs save you, ofc if you didn't met cs you would never had met the cyber's owner.
in my opnion the one who saved your life more than cs is this person who give you a work at the cyber and then sold you the cyber for a less price

As I said, there are much more things that I didn't even mention here. But CS was a big part of my life. If wasn't that, I will never enter on cyber for the first time and proprably I wouldn't be here writing these. CS ocupped my mind when I had nothing to lose, it was a big help for me.

Some people think that what I been through just happen in movies, but that's not true. Im not famous and I don't give a damn about that, I don't wanna attetion, nothing. I just felt that I need to share that when I wrote. I'm proud about all I have done and I don't give a damn if you don't believe me. Some people need to get out your bubble world and see people around you. There is many storys in every corner. I met people that suffer a hundred times more than me. Think about it.

My father are a hard worker. He works in a big company in a city near here as a mechanic. He travel everyday something like 40 km in the last 35 years to work. He's a serious man, he used to say that I need to got my own things since I was a kid. He raised 4 kids and for trying to help my momma send her to a mental hospitals, spend a lot of money there and that leave us bankrupt. As I said he are a serious man, no hugs, no smile. Sometimes I need to stop him cause my momma use to say nonsense things that I can't even say what she used to say here, totally nonsense and he used to slap her for that. I don't talked to him anymore, but he do what he needs to do. He failed hard sometimes, that's the way it is.
