IHL World goes CSP - #ihl.csp
Maybe you already know us from our 1.6 CS section or from our IHL Weekly Cups. We are thrilled about the CSP 1.09 version after lurppis his blog and so we decided to push CSP after the release of the new version and give people the chance to try it at 5on5 gathers.
So the community can see how CSP feels at a proper 5on5 mode with all his aspects.
What are we offering?
# We will have a gatherbot where everyone can vouch himself with his STEAMID.
# Everyone can challenge each other and there is no limit for signing in. So the pool could consist of 20 players or more and the team captains will be able to pick each 4 players.
# So you can play with your mates/team and challenge other people.
# We will offer some high quality servers hosted by FSHost.de (Germany)
# I think in the beginning there is no need for EAC because there won't be any cheats after the release. But we are able to get EAC on the servers any time.
First CSP Cup
We are also planning a CSP Cup after the release where you can sign with your team to try the game at a competitive level against other teams.
We are also trying to get some small prizes for this cup but i can't promise anything at the moment. Furthermore even without any prizes i think it will be a great opportunity for everyone.
Feedback - Ideas - Suggestions
If we are able to establish an active CSP community we will expand the CSP section like we did in the 1.6 section.
But other than that do you have any ideas or suggestions for the beginning.

good to see some things for CSP much better than CS:GO... although... I will never even play those games as I only have one true game I play.

Why won't you give CSP a try? It's like a revamped CS 1.6. Just perfect.
no reason to play i love 1.6 so much . if 1.6 a girl i marry her <3
I'm playing CS now for more than a decade and yes I love it. But if you play CSP it's not like you "betray your girl". It's more like you get your old, rusty but lovely car back in shape (fixing broken parts, killing the rust, new paint, etc ...).

how is 1.6 rusty .? THE ONLY bad thing about 1.6 is the graphics and if u care about graphics ur noob :DDD
the gameplay and movments and guns/recoil EVERYTHING ELSE is still perfect and fresh and new, no borken parts, no rust only sligtly bad thing is perhaps a few scratches in the paint...b ut WHO CARE IF THE CAR STILL DRIVE PERFECT?!??!

C'mon. After 12 years I'm tired of 1.6's look. Yeah, it's still fun and the game is still great, but why wouldn't we play the better looking version? I mean the gameplay is the same.
Also there are other great things: The netcode is like 1000x better plus they game got attack-prediction what makes it feel even smoother, you can see your teammates money in the scoreboard, forbidden settings are locked, bugs are fixed, etc.
Maybe we don't care that much about the graphics, but new players do. The German CS ESL ladders are almost dead and I want competition. We need new players!

can u beat fnatic? can u beat na'vi??? NO???? then there is STILL competition.
No EPS anymore, no use for an EAS, ladders almost empty, ....
As if the average competitive CS player would compete with fnatic or Navi at any time in his life...
If no new players join, the community will die and no community means no tournaments and no tournaments means no fnatic and no Navi anymore. Just saying.

Just to give you the 'heads up' on whats happening. So far 2 meetings have taken place and 1 more is yet to happen, regarding the release, this coming weekend. You will have a date next week at the most.
Sorry for any inconvenience to those who mis-interpreted saul's dev update.
If you're wondering why it is taking so long to formalise a date, it is because we're working around something regarding 1.10 as well.

The bot is already online and you can vouch yourself with ".vouch" and the bot will automatically vouch you with your auth (if you are authed!)
In the moment we need to see about the SteamID because the bot is connected to the server so the STEAMID doesnt make sense at the moment. We will maybe think about something else.
But i think this will work for 1 week so everyone can warm up for the cup and play with some mates against others. After that we will maybe integrate #ihl.csp in the IHL like the others channels.

what about the bot that calculates your kills etc. is it ready in 1.6 channel?
CS:S-cheats works for CSP #0. EAC should be on ASAP, but does EAC even support CSP atm?
