Hello it past so long time after my last blog , i have kind a reason to write new.
Like title says it will be about the ihl gathers special for int3.
Like you know ihl is popunar gather network nowdays but on int3 have everything but not gathers.
If one map in normal game takes 30-50 minutes here 20 minutes is warmup
one map can be played more then 1 hour if there is no replacements , if have replacements it can take to 90 minutes and maybe more?!
Im typing this blog not to blame admins on ihl but they do nothing to fix this sh*t.
Like i said , there have everything, you can see players who play first 5on5 , players who don't know/talk english , players who have ping as hell but they continue to play and ask for replace every single game and many more types , imo lot of them are kinda retarded but they don't want to accept suggestions of some better.
I would like to show to one of the player types how to check their ping without joining the server and putting it in favourites.
Few stepst just follow it.
1.Start > run > type cmd > in cmd type "ping ip" press enter.

So in our situation time is 38 so i got 38 ping on server 3.

If you have more then 60 ms on this checking don't even join the irc channel , you can't play with more then 60 ms , 60 is too much but is acceptable.
Now im asking the stuff , why they allow players who have more then 60 ms on the servers?
You guys don't get nothing if you have +100 players with 80 ping , you will losse the guys who play with <60 and try to get some fun (?!).
Suggestion 1, about the giving points , it's no sens to give points on win/losse. Because type of game is 5on5 not 1on1 you are playing with 4 more guys . Maybe 1 of that 5 guys have 20+ frags and play well all the time but his mates can't hit a duck and he is lossing because of them.
Suggestion 2, Put HLTV on matches , you have 20+ people in your stuff.
Someone can watch that HLTVs and notice what's wrong/bad , improve it!
Suggestion 3, Teamspeak , please do something concrete like when 10 people on mirc get .sign "teach" bot to give them ip and ts room and if can personal password for the teamspeak room because have some "nerds" who join in ts room and do troubles or ghosting (?!) .
Suggestion 4, Ban system , improve it! troublemakers need to be banned on long time not 1 day or 1 week ban him for 3 months to get rest and rehabilitate.
Suggestion 5 , Lot of players aren't playing with their real nicks in-game , some of them are with other nick on irc other on team speak other ingame who the fu*k is he i look in them like a 3 diffrent guys.
Suggestion 6, Atm everyone can make a gather and play , my suggestion disable that! Allow to create games only players who deserve that , who know how servers and commands are working and how to fix some problem if it's happend.
This is all what i get for now , it will have more for sure but for now enought wanna see what YOU think and comment it.
Like i said im not here to insult someone , i just want to do things better.

so you play on ihl3 right...Why to forbid players with 60 ping, it's their problem not yours...
it is, the player with 60+ping cant play 100% like he normal can, that can cost them the game.

if server is good it's playable cmon... 70 + is problem...
im not sure how much dealy have , i think it's around 1ms=0.001sec for this game that is too much + if you have on mind that inets with 100 ping will have choke/loss too , then is a problem.
And please tell me how much ping you have on ihl servers and did will you play if you have 60+ ping?

i have 30 ~ 35 and yes i would play without problem like i'm playing on brutal.csdm with 60~65 ping without problem, if serv is good, so is your connection, yes you will have a lag but you can handle it without prob (playable)

a) too far from server
b) bad internet
If is too far ping is for sure high and if is in combination with b there is no point to play with that stuff.
If connection is bad even you have 40 ping you will have choke/loss so again no point to play.

Do you get it that his is a community project and every one put like 1000hours into it without getting anything. So why should our admins quit their work and be 24/7 an admin?
We can be glad that we have so much people who want to help this project, because we are still a community project where everyone pitches in as much as he can.

btw. I am pretty sure most of the people here know how to use command prompt to check ping, trace route, configure ip etc. I personally use mirc script to check ping on given ip directly from mirc. Pretty useful.
Also your blog is stupid. IHL.int2 and IHL.int3 are open gathers, for everyone to join. If you want to play with good players then win some tournaments, get known and go play on #pzeliten, #de_nuke or #ihl.int

Stopped playing on IHL because the admins have no guidelines and there is still no point awards for individual play.

If you are always last man standing and getting 3 kills then you have maybe 20 frags but your team will still lose. So a good player will try to lead his team as good as possible and if they dont want to listen, then you just try to go 1st and make the entry frags.

if IHL uses this "pieces of advice", IHL will be dead just like hltvglobalmix.
About the ping, I played my whole life with 75 ping and its not annoying at all, i can do my best that way. ofc it will look harder for those who are usually on 30. Just like swedish players, they dont want to play on higher ping than 15.. oh and the method of eliminating higher pings is not practical at all, tell me, how can u do it? will u add high ping kicker? so that a player gets kicked and you need to replace? ur thinking of the results rather than the methods

north africa is not like the rest my friend, at some lan we have a tournament every two weeks. we have also a very respectable tournament every year with a large number of pcs and sponsors, the cs scene was born here around 06-07.

this is an international gather commuinty, it has both its advantages and drawbacks, if u want to play with low pings, im pretty sure balkan countries have a lot of gather systems. Anyhow, im just trying to say that everyone is free to play in a public community, correct me if im mistaken

north africa probably have an older cs scene than yours, not offending you but it is a fact, due to the unstable conditions in my country we've been late to the cs scene a bit, and if things went as it is planned, you will see some of our teams joining international events, whether the game will be 1.6 or cs:go.

If u start kickin all THE people with � higher ping then 60 u have 10people playin in IHL gathers, its still about fun.. If u want to play for stats thats your problem u can never win every single game just deal with it that not all people are good.
I understand your frustration about the ping but unfortunately there is no other option.
Gathers are fine for me even tho some people cant speak proper english or not at all.

I understand your frustration about the ping but unfortunately there is no other option.
Gathers are fine for me even tho some people cant speak proper english or not at all.

2, 4, 6 are stupid ideas, Also About the ping. Balkan Players, Germanian Players, Danmark Players, Sweeden Players, Austrian Players and some few others... Have Good Pings on German Servers like are ihl's under 60 ping. Danmarks Have they'r own gather, Sweeds have playnation for other i dunno so how mutch players you will have? 60ping is playable more than 80-90 is not. Yeah i played with some guys from Usa with 150 ping its not the deal that hes ping is high but you cant kill him that is the problem.
you are probably mad because players that have like 70-80 ping owns you. Ping doesn't matter if the servers are good. I have played on some game-hosting servers from sweden and i had like 80-85ms and still was playable.So stop whining and start to adapt like adv BBBW said.
When I play on the IHL / German servers I got anything between 40-80 ping... Yes, it's actually spread out that much, but it's usually around 50-60-70. But that's just because I play on a USB port right now, so other Norwegians usually have 25-40 ping ;)
