Arriving in Anexis
Hello, my name is Kevin and I am the manager of the CS:GO team in Anexis eSport e.V . Some of you have never heard about me, with good reason - even though I’ve been working in the eSport-scene for about 4 years. I have worked in various organizations like H2k, WinFakt and XayaGaming.
I have never in my life written a blog - this is my first - but i guess everything has a beginning.
So who is the new CS:GO team in Anexis eSport e.V.?
The team has shown their strength in the recent months and i think it's only fair I give you all a fair description of my CS:GO players;
Jacob ‘Pimp’ Winneche
Jacob is a very reliable and stabile player. He has the awp-role in the team and is a very important part of the team. His play style often surprises his opponents since he can switch from being very passive to aggressive. He is also an amazing clutcher and has the ability to turn impossible rounds to his advantage; even though he is an awp-player he still has a very supreme aim.
And dont forget to follow Pimp on Facebook
www.facebook.com/PimpCS
Nichlas ‘Nille’ Busk
Nille is our x-factor; he normally plays our difficult solo spots where he has the job to keep himself alive as long as possible in order for the backup to arrive. He is a happy guy who keeps the motivation rolling in the team
Mathias ‘MSL’ Lauridsen
Mathias is part of our young-gun-triangle; he is a very consistent player and usually plays the important backup at small bombsites. He has been part of a several of "just beneath the top" teams and has finally make his breakthrough at the big stage. He will be looking to improve his current level even more.
Casper ‘ruggah’ Due
Casper has been around the CS-scenes for a while; he's the captain and the oldest in the team. With his many years of experience, he gives the team its essential ingame touch.
René ‘cajun’ Borg
René is an experienced player with an impressive achievement list. He is well-known for is incredible aim spiced with his ability to read his opponents, once he gets started - you won't be able to stop him.
How did it all start?
About 3 months ago, Hasta La Vista approached me and gave me job offer; they wanted me to be their team manager. I didn't hesitate - I accepted immediately.
I knew it was going to be a hard task, not that the team was bad or anything – but it was a new game, new scene and would it even be picked by all the big events as ESWC and DreamHack?
Good times and bad times.
In the middle of August we lost Herden as he wanted to join the new formed Wolves, but with a pick up as Cajun, the wound quickly healed.
It was a frustrating time for me - having problems getting through to organizations, which led to headaches for me and the team. With the qualification for ESWC and ThorOpen, the team had enough to think about – but in the end we got contacted by Anexis eSport who wanted us from the very first conversation. Speaking on both the teams' and my own behalf, we're very delighted with a partnership with such a professional organization; the future is looking bright!
The busy schedule!
Some of you already know, that we qualified as the only Danish team for ESWC , it hasn't been an easy road, since the deciding match against gosu was played our stand-in zn0pe. Fortunately zn0pe did brilliantly, he "clicked" with the team and we won an impressive 2-0 victory against the Swedish/Norwegian ByLAN winners. Even though the team faced its first defeat against NiP, they are eager to prove they are able to beat them, hopefully we will get the chance for a rematch at ESWC!
Our calendar is looking very busy the next couple of months with events to be played. The first event is happening this weekend in Fredericia (Denmark), where the team is playing some of the best national teams at NetPartyFyn. Next stop will be a trip to Paris (2-4 of November) competing for the ESWC title followed by the event ThorsOpen in Stockholm (8-9 of December). Hopefully we will get an invite for DreamHack (22-25 of November) and NorthCon (14-16 of December), we will definitely be there if so.
I will be updating you about the NPF-event tomorrow, where I will meet up with the boys and do some updates and photo/video sessions – so don’t forget to follow me on Twitter twitter.com/Kevzs
If you are interested you can also follow us at Anexis eSports facebook at www.facebook.com/AnexiseSports

Anexis 1.6 > Anexis CS:GO :p
Good read indeed, more players should make blogs about theyre plans, since it is our biggest community here anyways ;)
Defeat against f0rest is nothing to be ashamed of. It can be compared to sunrise and sunset, it's inevitable.
Epic comment :D
"Peace out, Kevin" - EPIC xD

Cheers mate! <3
Best of luck with the team, I've been routing for you ever since the qualifier. Was pretty bummed out about the rest of the Danes going out until I saw how well your team did against the Finnish teams.
Go go Danish bias :P
