What is our community thinking about the admins / forum moderators in HLTV.org?

Reason: A few times he deletes the right threads (the ones that really should deleted) but MOST of the time he deletes funny threads that shouldn't be deleted. In my opinion a bad moderator.

Schypher: 1/10
Reason: This guy suffers compulsory deletion itche. Because of him we lost hundreds (probably) of very interesting / funny threads / comments. In my opinion a very bad moderator

Don't know about the others.

When they lock a thread (almost as bad as deleting it) they post a -locked- message in the end of the thread, then you know who did it. When a good thread is deleted, people complain about it in others threads (or create a thread to complain) and the admin who deleted it usually posts there or lock the thread, and you end up knowing who deleted it.

Man, I remember soooo many good threads deleted recently. There was the epic mTw thread, epic HellRose thread and many others. Its a shame.

yeah, the only one that i know who deleted is the Boys S01E01, hahaha, that was truly epic, and jonathan managed to delete judging it as a troll blog.

they could create a great big international forum based on cs community, but instead thanks to deleting everything that is even remotely funny and everything not related to CS (maybe except threads about weather) - this forum can't grow cause everyone who likes cs but also wants to talk about other stuff needs to find an alternative forum

There were over 15 "Country" threads in less than 10 minutes.

Imagine what would happen if everyone started a thread about their country. There are over 190 countries all over the world.

You guys can discuss anything you want. ANYTHING. There are 3 simple rules. No cursing, no racist comments and no spamming.

Believe me, the off-topic threads are much more than the Counterstrike related ones. You know why ? Cause you are right. We'are having FUN in here.

Fail. Neither the ´BOYS S01E01´ (even HellRose was fine with that) nor the mTw thread were anything related to cursing, racism or spamming. Still, they were deleted for NO GOOD REASON. And there are hundreds more deleted threads in that situation. Every regular user from this site knows what you said is just not true, you are just makng a fool of yourself imo.

Well, their best is not enough I guess, sice they are preventing the site / forum to grow in activity. Sure, the racist threads, spamming threads, etc should be deleted, no doubt about that, but they are deleting A HELL LOT of content they shouldn't. I guess that makes their job not good enough, since it hurts HLTV population / activity / less flux for advertises etc...

yep, but in your opinion, every negative comment in one of those country threads - racism, anything funny - spam, don't tell me it's not like that, when i tried to be funny for 2 days i realised 90% of my comments were deleted, and only yesterday there was thread 'hltv.org on sex' - already deleted. i'm not trying to change admins attidute, i'm not the owner here, but if you ask me what i think about admins/mods work on this site, then here it is, i also had to find another forum to talk about other stuff, cause it was frustrating when you didn't know if your comment is going to be up in 30min

trib already offered you a clue of what type of content is welcomed on this site.

As far as I am concerned I would be more than happy if you or any other users were able to discuss about whatever you like on this site (restrictions apply as despite its nature this site is still a private site and also underage people visit it) but unfortunately that is not possible.

It is not the site staff that builds the site but the users and unfortunately some of them lack the minimum of maturity, respect and common sense overall. And the staff will prevent this kind of behaviour the best they can even if, just like you, some users do not agree with the measures that are taken.
And if you want to complain, again as far as I am concerned, my door is always open in order to listen.
Note that does not mean that I have to necessarily agree on the complaint.

You yourself state that you tried to be funny. Why? Is it so hard to stick to the thread topic instead of f.e. risking to be misunderstood and ending up as part of flames, insults etc.? In the same way bear in mind that it is not necessarily your message that ends up deleted but it will not show up if the one you replied to was.

If you want your comment to last think before posting which unfortunately some people do not (or actually do just for the sake of trolling/flaming etc.; in that case report the message instead of helping that people in its task).

But many users say I visit this site because I can enjoy the content it offers without being harrassed by flamers, trolls, inmature people etc. as site staff try their best to take care of them (and that given user collaborates in order to make it possible even more for other people) ;)

it would be a little unfair to rate them using the same scale, since not all of them do the same job, like for example, Nix would get a perfect 10 in "LAN coverage", while others wouldn't or if you take that crazy shit called statistics that Tgwri1s does (he also has some points in LAN covergae =P) so i guess everyone has his particular task, or however you want to call it. Also, there are some mods that I'm pretty sure that do A LOT of work with the forums, deleteing/closing useless threads, and we barelly know about them, like janusz1900 for example, or MadeInLondon.

TL;DR: HLTV.org It's like a perfect machine, where everyone does his job.

Now... if you ask for the coolest guys.... well, the three blue/purple flagged guys are AWESOME.
