CS1.6 aiming prob
So I started cs in the middle of 08', since then I've been finding countless of ways to increase my accuracy. Sadly, none of them seem to work or it's just my skills that aren't increasing. So I decided to make a video for you guys to watch, rate and review. See what is wrong with my aiming skills. I've been dming, scrimming but I always have bad aim. What is the matter? I play with 40-60 ping always.

truth hurts isn't it ? there are people who play like 100+ hrs and still suck, while guys like f0rest who don't even play dm or watch demos are like gods. if you suck at it don't waste your time and focus on finding the things you have talent at.

first of all bro... csdm destroys your aim and that is why people do not play it(well most still do cuz it is good for warmup).. and it gives you bad habbits... that is the only reason players like forest do not play it... and not everyone is prone to bad habbits either so that is why it helps a lot also...

sucking at something and moving on means that you are a quitter... if you do not try you won't find out about your inner potential and you will never be able to do it... talent means having a head start against noobs...that is all... as you progress it would be all about hardwork... talent only matters at the lowest of levels which is just a natural advantage and in sometime the other noobs will become as good with more hardwork if they do it correctly...

and being good at this game or any game has nothing to do with talent.. it is always brains and hardwork... and this game doesn't even need anything more than two arms and set or working eyes and ears... everyone can be amazing at the game... cs is a hard game... it requires intelligence to master as well as hard work... most people just waste time trying to get better... luck is also a factor... all you need to do is be around good players and you will become good in no time... which not everyone can have...

look at asian countries... they are super densely populated... and still europe rules... why is that?? not because of talent but because of better circumstances... talent has nothing to do with it... talent is intelligence... which can be trained... cs requires a brain and an aim... both can be trained if done correctly... i don't know what talent are you talking about... reflexes to iq... everything can be increased and trained like crazy...believe it or not... talent has nothing to do with it.. talent is just an initial advantage but as you progress it is not talent but hardwork that defines the winner... if f0rest or neo teaches an utter noob... do you not think they would become pro in some time under training?? i have seen countless amazing mad fraggers and defensive team players... the only difference is the adrenaline level they apply in their gameplay... no damn talent brah... it is only hardwork... the truth about life is that you can achieve anything an individual has achieved before... that is why people break world records by bigger margins everytime... they have better knowledge and the will for hardwork... talent just has nothing to do with it especially when you have to sit in front of a computer and provided that you are not mentally challenged like americans...

the talent in cs consist from the following things:
-some brain muscles (i forgot how they are named, too lazy to look it up :p)
-reflexes
-how you handle different situations under pressure
-what are your views about the game and the methods of improving further
These are all "talents" , didn't meant the thing that someone who didn't play cs in his life in 2 weeks can become a god. And I wasn't referring to quit instantly a game. Sure, if you love it then have fun playing it as much as you want, but if you want to be at a professional level, but even after 4000 hours you're still sucky, then maybe a change would be perfect.
And I can bet with you that if some noob gets trained by f0rest or another pro, there's a 70% chance that he wouldn't get even near semi-pro level, because they don't have that "something". This is my opinion so no harsh feelings :)

these are talents if you knew them before you started... but if someone tells you to do that then it cancels it out doesn't it?? all on the same page one way or the other... and i can bet that if a noobs gets trained by forest and neo, he will be become a pro with a chance of 80%... only a mentally handicapped person will not be able to... and can you tell me the special "something" that is required?? would it be intelligence?? reflexes?? or the desire and motivation?? what else there is dude? "intelligent" hardwork is the thing that is required... discovering on your own would take years... getting taught will be a lot quicker... there is no special something... and this is not my opinion.. it is a fact as i have researched these things a lot... if you are not naturally dumb then you can do it.... that spark of brilliance that you see once in a while is just adrenaline... handling pressure gets better with time.. your hands might shake at first... but that is why they say "believe in yourself" so that you are not afraid... all the good players who have the special "something" are actually just confident... and again it is not an opinion... it is a fact... if it was real sports them physical size and genetics could play a part... but on a computer it is just your brain... eat a lot of b-complex so that you have great hand to eye co-ordination and strong nerves... we are all humans and same underneath... there is no special something... if you think so then you will never achieve anything...

hahahha wtf dude... for cs you need just a little brain. like hammer said if a good player teaches you the chances of sucking are like 0%. the guys who suck are those who don't put enough effort and don't play the game properly (pubers/dmers etc...) the secret to become good is just play high 5on5s... those who get in that circle of players are going to be good and the others won't ,simple as that.
*circle of high level players is not just f0rest,gtr,neo... there are plenty of good unknown players...

I watched and I think your main problem is your movement. Your positioning behind corners is very bad, try to learn ducking, and you don't use sound so much to hear where is ur opponent so you can't take good position. Also learn spraying more on short-medium distances, forget about burts for now...play more dm where the game is more dynamic. Don't play pubs, it won't help you.

lol that doesnt has to do with anything..yes its a perfect blue line with ex_interp 0.1 has same as in lan but hitboxes values are pretty fail..plus i cant watch players while using ex_interp 0.01,the shoots seem lagged out..just horrid

wrong, the values should be 100(if u have 100fps) 102(max value of the server providing info to ur client.. which is normally set serverside 100) and 20000(highest effective value on rate).. though the majority of the community thinks 101 101 25k is the right and only. ex_interp 0 would say 0.009 in this case and 0.01 is made for 101

if he has 100fps and good internet cl_cmdrate should be 100, cl_updaterate 102 and rate 20000.. cl_lw 1 and cl_lc 1(if the net is under 10 ping constantly he might want to try cl_lc 0). ex_interp 0.009 for cl_cmdrate 100.

huh?just use net_graph 1 and increase cl_Cmdrate value until all the red dots dissapear(i use cl_cmdrate 105),rate under 25k is not used anymore,and dont mess up with cl_lw and cl_lc values and ex_interp always at 0.01

Maybe you should lower mouse sensitivity, coz I saw, you can't synchronize movement of your crosshair and movement of enemy. I had similar problem few years ago, so I played for a long time with lowest sens (1,0 in-game @800dpi). The main prob has gone.. Maybe it helps you too.

but i desagree with the noforce... i personlaly find accel to have a better accuracy

trace use accel (which mean no noforce or mousefix)

Xizt use 400 and the ikari hasn't 800dpi mode, Moddii use 1600 and yes, I forget about he is,he's great aimer. Also Zeus use 1600-1800dpi and good aimer. Myself is owned :[

Mwheelup (duck) + CTRL (duck) when u come out of corner, if not allowed then CTRL + CTRL

I think u should lower ur sensitivity, when you spray you just start from head and after that put it right to enemy leg. You need to do it more smoothly... Pracc recoil and learn to shoot tap-tap headshots.


EDIT: best way to learn shooting is to watch POV's from pro's then go to CSDM and shoot the same way, if u do it long enought it comes to you.

OMG man why you didn't enter some DM server and show us your aiming problem instead of this single actions and rewinds between them.

Your movement needs to be more fluid, hold crosshair in good position always - follow edges, and lower your sensitivity and the most important play with low ping, so find some good servers or go to lan and practice with friends.

okay... i watched a little... first your aim is terrible cuz you don't aim at the head... haha... simple bro... try and aim at the head at all times... keep your hands damn stable while shooting... and playing with good players is the key... cuz when they pawn you, you will see how they are playing... even demos of pros won't help as you are not able to understand the quality of the opposition compared to the pro you are watching... play against pro players yourself and see how much of a difference you have from them.. this will let you find out what you do wrong or how they aim...

- Dont use silencer so much.Use it only if you are hidding in some good position.......I had a problem with shooting when I was using m4,because I used all the time silencer.But around a month ago when I tried to remove it ,my skill with m4 increased at least about 20%.
- Dont play these crappy publics.Play dm,and dont look at scoreboard... play it for yourself.But,You dont need to play it too much.Everyday 30 minut ,or when you feel warmed up.If you think ,that you will be f0rest when you will playing like 24/7 deathmatch,think again.
- You dont need to play 1on1 aim maps,it will not make you better......BUT ,I see that you are not very good in movement.So my advice is that you should download demo of some good player from 1on1 maps.You will see every detail in his movement.
- Actually , my aim is increasing mostly when I play mixes/cw/gathers with a little bit of deathmatch before that.
- Be comfident.... When I am playing,I allways know that I will kill at least one enemy,even if I have just a deagle.Play more aggresive.I am not saying that defensive style is bad,but in your situation ,it looks to me that you are afraid to die.
- Dont use begrip , its lame.

i only watched the first action and its pretty obvious..you lack confidence shooting and you lack confidence with your mouse sens..plus you shouldnt shoot like that..focus on the head of the enemy and not the recoil pattern you "should" make,dont listen to the bullshit of using silencer and wtv..oh and quit pubbing normally those servers have fucked up hitboxes!hf

From what i saw, the main problem is you, you walk around and your crosshair is always pointed to the body/legs. Also try to play some reaction games (missionred etc). That will give you a better aim with the awp

cr8 a srv with 20 bots on knife and try to HS them with 1-2 bullets (ak and m4)... don't play pub,go to a dm srv and see if you improved,gather some friends and play 5on5... you can find opponents on #5on5...

Guys thanks for all t3h reply. I couldn't believe I forgot to input my noforce cmds into cs! Now I'm playing with 1.0 sensitivity and I can frag but not the pros, not quite yet. I am still unable to calm myself down if people rush towards me.

Yeah I've been around the cs scene for sometime now, watched n0thing's guide, heaton's guide both the old one and the new one and a guy from Russia(forgot his name). I also have the AWP guide from fisker and awp demo pov by walle. They all went to show all t3h tactics. The only reason I'm playing pub games is, unlike your countries, we do not have over 20+ servers with dm or scrim. I have to get a steam friend or wait for an invitation to go into one, which means I need an admin as a friend or someone who goes to scrim often in order for me to get invited. We rarely use IRC and we don't have a league like esea, esl and etc. Every1 else(at least in my state) plays DotA/COD so cs is like an underdog now which use to flourish during it's 1.3-1.5 times.

Well if you do play a lot and your aim is still an issue, I think the problem might be your mouse (mouse settings or even mouse it self). I mean, many people say that at 50-60 ping its almost impossible to aim well, which I think is bullshit. I have shit internet for over 2 years and I always play at 60-70 ping on any server. My aim is good because I am very confortable with my mouse.
